Ghost House Farm is a small vegetable operation in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. A busy hive of activity, especially on harvest days, we also love rest, flowers, and quiet time. We offer u-pick flowers in August and September. Ask us about having a seasonal bouquet or basket of veggies delivered to the cabin for you.A real retreat, our farm's off-grid cabin is quiet and only reachable through a short walk through the woods. Peaceful, rustic, secluded. The set up is dry — outhouse at the farm and no running water — but there is water dispenser with fresh well water and solar with a small battery to run lights, phones, and an electric kettle (along with a French press, local coffee, and a custom tea blend from Weywerd Teas). - There is one queen bed with bedding included. There is a queen air mattress available for additional guests. - Parking is available at the main farm building - Cabin is 500-foot walk into the woods past the goat pasture (electric fence) - Cart available to haul stuff to/from cabin - Portable toilet is available near the parking area - No shower, no running water; drinking water available - No refrigeration - Fire ring (not available during fire bans); firewood for sale by parking, downed and dead free to grab - Ask us about seasonal flowers and veggies! We are a working farm. It's a busy place during the weekday daylight hours and we do have livestock, so it's important to keep pets on leash. We can provide tours, produce, or bouquets for an extra fee, and while we love to share our farm, the growing season is demanding. We look forward to sharing our space with you. May you find rest and ease of being in our little cabin oasis.
