Welcome! We have a small chicken farm that we’d love to share with you — whether you’re passing through for a night or staying a few days to enjoy the local attractions. Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire Bluffs, Traverse City, Glen Arbor, Lake Ann, and much more are all within a 10–30 minute drive, depending on where you’d like to go. There are no water, electric, or sewer hookups, but potable water is available from the outdoor house spigot. A porta potty is provided on-site for your use and is equipped with hand sanitizer. You’ll find several roadside stands nearby selling baked goods, local produce, meat, cheese, flowers, and more. A small store about 2 miles away carries basic necessities. There are many beautiful lakes and trails in the area for kayaking, boating, fishing, and swimming.

There is space for 2 campers and multiple tents if needed. Partially level ground but levelers are suggested for campers. Please pull into driveway, between garage and pole barn into the back yard. Go between the chicken coop and porta potty to access camping area. Please do not drive over pavers in the back yard or in front of chicken coop as the septic is located there. There is a water spigot on the back of the house to access. Please do not wash dishes there. Keep personal uses/ messes contained. This is our home/yard that we'll be sharing with you. Fires are permitted in the fire pit as long as there's no fire ban. Wood bundles may be purchased from us for $5/bundle. You may use the picnic table (very heavy so please be careful when moving) and clothes line if not in use. Eggs may be purchased for $5/dozen when available. Garbage bins available to use for disposal of contained bags (no loose items). Destruction of property or incorrect disposal of garbage/ personal items will result in a fine. If you smoke, all butts must be disposed of and not left on the ground or in the fire pit! No illegal drug/ alcohol use will be permitted or marijuana.
