Robert met us at the site. Was very welcoming and friendly. We needed to air up one of out tires and he graciously offered his air compressor. We loved the town of Frankenmuth too!
Robert stayed up to make sure we arrived safely after having to show up very late. It was a great place for my daughter and I to stay a quick night before hitting the road in the early hours of morning!
First time using Hipcamp and what a score ! We were the only ones camping here and just loved the property , the host was excellent at communication and would return.
Rob was so warm and friendly welcoming us to the campsite! It was easily accessible and we loved the little trails through the woods + the apple tree swing :) a great and convenient place to stop!
Robert and his family really have a slice of heaven that they have made available to others to enjoy. Easy access in and out from the interstate, but yet far enough away to not be bothered by the noise of the traffic. Very convenient if you are interested in shopping at Frankenmuth. We had a wonderful time without any issue and will definitely be back soon. Thanks Rob!
Rob was an exceptional host. He was quick to respond and also reached out when he wasn’t certain if he would be back before we arrived. He made sure to stop by our site to check if anything was needed. The directions were clear and simple to follow just look for the white building near the road and driveway. Google Maps wants to have you turn in the drive before his. The area was very quiet and I even got to see a deer in the field in the morning. His site is about a 10 minute drive to Frankenmuth Definitely recommend!
Very close to Frankenmuth so you have great access to town. You’ve got power if needed. It’s right off the road but I was not bothered by traffic noise or anything like that. Robert is very accommodating.
We chose Footsteps From Frankenmuth as our first RV experience after buying a 35’ travel trailer. Even though we booked last minute, Rob was right there to help us into our site. He’s an amazing camp host with a wonderful family. We brought our cat for her first camping trip as well. We all had an exceptional time. There’s plenty of space to roam and explore and the sites are very spacious. The roads to the property are well maintained and it was nice and quiet in Bridgeport. We ended up extending our stay a few more days. Thanks guys, for a very successful first camping trip.
It was nice. We only stayed 1 night. Robert the owner was very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay, and it was close to Frankenmuth and all the activities we had planned 😀
We were looking for a one night stop over camp and interested in visiting Frankenmuth. This site met all the requirements. The host, Robert, met us upon arrival and was helpful in making sure we had everything we needed.
Quiet atmosphere, natural setting, with electricity and water. Tons of privacy. Rob and his wife went out of their way to ensure everything went smoothly!!!
Absolutely beautiful space and was large enough for any campers needs. Robert was super nice and informed us about the area and the neighbors, who are also super nice according to Robert. Robert was super hospitable, asked us if we needed power, gave us a campfire pit, and a tarp to keep the bottom of our tent clean. After all that we were left completely alone for the rest of the time and everything went super well. Absolutely would recommend this host.
We needed a nice quiet place to stay while in town and that’s exactly what this place brings. Easy to get to, flat ground, dark sky’s, and quiet. What more could you ask for? We were visited by a couple of kittens that were very friendly as a bonus.
Robert was a great host.
Very friendly and good conversation.
He greeted us promptly upon our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed.
I highly recommend staying at his camp.
Robert was a great host with excellent communication! He met us at the site upon arrival. We had a tent & it had been raining so he gave us many options of the driest areas for setup. We chose closer to the street since we knew we were leaving early in the morning but there was hardly any traffic at night & it was quiet. He has plenty of spaces back further into the woods for even more peace. We came for Frankenmuth dog fest as did some others & it was completely dog friendly with no issues with barking. It’s only 15 min from Frankenmuth & 3 minutes from Loves Truck Stop/bathroom for a shower if needed. We would definitely stay here again for our travels! Thanks for making our stay so comfortable Robert! :)
This is a great little spot to go if you’re looking for a quiet place for a little weekend getaway for a very affordable cost. Very close to Birch run and Frankenmuth. Definitely worth it.
