Earn this patch by being the first to spend a night outside at a new Hipcamp.

RV camping on private land with electric (50, 30 and 20 AMP), water source to fill up your tank and RV dump . Less than one mile from public land and trails for your UTVs and less than 15 minutes to the Torch Lake sand bar and public access sites. Located just 5 minutes from downtown Kalkaska for all the amenities, you have access to everything northwestern Michigan has to offer. Bring your group for the weekend and enjoy the outdoor fun with friends and family. There are 2 RV spots with two 50 AMP and/or two 30 AMP hookups. Two sights available. This is a shared lot with a private cabin, a community fire pit (so bring your own firewood) and the owner's RV on the property. There is plenty of room to park your boat or trailer with your toys. With the proper tags, you can drive your UTV out from the property to state land and trails. *Download the Polaris app for maps of public trails. Be aware the land to the north and west of the property is private land, so do not trespass. Bring one tent per RV too, though there is no public bathroom, so you use your friend's RV. This is a residential area, so respect for the local residents is a priority and quite hours are enforced if needed. Many use this spot as their home base to access the lakes, trails and rivers. Leashed pets are welcome and need to be cleaned up after. Outdoor cameras are in use, so those who violate the rules will be asked to leave. The host has two friendly dogs too if we are on property. An onsite host is hit or miss, so being independent, respectful and responsible is required.

This back-in space has no limit to the length of your camper as long as you unhook to allow access to the neighboring site. Extra toy trailer parking available. Please see the picture of the site drawing. There is a shared fire pit by the blue cabin so bring your own firewood. Water is available by the blue cabin to fill your tank before you park. See site drawing. Guests will need to be self contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.

Site 2 West of Power Pole

This back-in space has no limit to the length of your camper. This site is bigger than site one and has a view of the woods but is lumpier. Extra toy trailer parking available. Please see the picture of the site drawing. There is a shared fire pit by the blue cabin so bring your own firewood. Water is available by the blue cabin to fill your tank before you park. See site drawing. You also have the option to pull in straight in so you'll have a view of the woods from your camper door, but your dump tank will be on the opposite side of the receptacle as it is close to the power pole. Guests will need to be self contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.
