The treehouse was super cute!! It had everything I could have asked for and I felt super safe there alone. Wasn’t quite as secluded as I expected but it wasn’t an issue, it does still feel like you have your own space. It was easy to find and there was some nice hiking nearby. I had a good stay!

I took my granddaughter, and my pup for a treehouse adventure. We loved it! She climbed the rope ladder several times. I even did a few times too. We enjoyed being in nature so much.

The Dragon Outpost treehouse is a great spot to get away from the city and enjoy some time in the forest. The hosts give you good directions to get through the backroads to reach the property. What greets you is a large stand of huge trees and the treehouse! Though there are homes in the surrounding area, the treehouse still feels well insulated from them by the forest. The structure is well built and we felt quite safe inside it though some big thunderstorms. There is enough room for 2/3 people to hang out inside and sleep in the treehouse. The hosts provide some great amenities to make your stay even better as well! Having access to the water is also a great plus. For anyone looking for a fun camping experience + some amenities like a good bed under a roof and water access, I highly recommend this spot!!

The Dragon Outpost was such a great getaway for my partner, our dog and I. We were greeted with birthday balloons for my partner, and welcome snacks inside. Dry firewood, drinking water, fans and electricity, we sure felt spoiled compared to our usual rustic style of camping. The bed was so comfortable that we didn't even know it stormed both nights until our host mentioned it!
The hosts went above and beyond for us. You can immediately tell that they are genuinely kind and caring people, even taking it upon themselves to care for a couple of sweet dogs that were abandoned by their owners.
The waterfront is extremely private, shaded, and perfect for relaxing on a hot afternoon.
We especially loved the artwork inside the treehouse, as well as all the little personal touches such as wind chimes and fresh potted flowers.
I feel like we found a true hidden gem! We will definitely be back!!!

We enjoyed the unique experience of the Dragon Outpost! I really loved the large window overlooking the surrounding trees- it felt very magical! There were plenty of cute, thoughtful touches such as a string of lights and a welcome basket. Our husky mix adored being able to sniff and run around outside. We experienced a bit of rain upon arrival, and the hosts were great! They were welcoming, answered questions, and had our comfort in mind. At the same time, we had more than enough privacy. I think this treehouse would be great for a solo traveler wanting to unwind, write or just experience some solitude in a forest-like setting. The bed itself was comfortable, but it is a true loft and is close to the ceiling. Overall, cute space and fantastic hosts!

The Dragon Outpost
We had such a nice stay at the Dragon Outpost--a truly unique camping experience. Our hosts thought of every little detail to make life easier for us while still letting us enjoy a secluded camping weekend. We're already planning our next visit!

We had a wonderful time in the treehouse, even better in person, a quiet magical little place. Our German shepherd had a good time hanging out on the little deck area.
Lots of cool little touches and lights. The fans were appreciated and helped a lot.
We would love to stay again.
Things to note: if you’re not familiar with the area, would be easier to find in daylight but not a deterrent.
We have a 4x4 so it wasn’t an issue but if it were days after heavy rain, a low clearance car possibly would get stuck in parts of the road.

The treehouse was everything as described. Was a perfect place for us to have our pets and be away from weather while being close to the river for adventures. Mike was very helpful and available for anything needed. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

The little tree house was cute, and well built. It was nice and cool in there with the fans going and they supplied plenty of lighting. The toilet was private and on the balcony of the tree house so very easy to access throughout the night. They left a cute welcome gift and had a cute coffee setup for moring time. I loved that it was pet friendly as well. When we arrived around 3pm the next store neighbor was mowing for a couple of hours and we were unsure where the water front was Amy did respond and let me know it was in her back yard right across the street we did check that out the view was pretty Mike and Amy's house is about 300 feet from the tree house right across the street and there was neighbors on both side of them. The neighbors were up until almost 2am yelling at kids, kids yelling very loudly, working on there car muffler and reving the engine, Played classic rock and rap super loud and you could here all that in the tree house. It is not private at all. My son though loved staying in the tree house he though it was neat.

We loved our time at this adorable treehouse! The storm raged outside but we were dry and cozy inside. It was a bit tricky to find in the dark and rain but with it as it was an incredible launch spot for riding on the dragon the next day. Nice homey touches throughout the outpost

Loved it! Great little place to relax at the end of the day, have a campfire, and have a few drinks. Also kept me nice and dry from the heavy rains that rolled through at night.

We absolutely loved camping here!!! Mike & Amy were great hosts!!! Very welcoming & always available for any needs. We were even invited to morning yoga! The treehouse is perfect for a nice little getaway!! It's not completely secluded, but we felt like we had our own private space. The bed is really comfy! We were surprised to find electricity too!! Lots of thoughtful touches...from the lanterns, extra batteries, coffee/tea, kettle, doggie bags, extra blankets, firestarters, welcome package & guestbook!! <3 Several fans to keep you cool!! The toilet is perfect for camping a weekend. Nice lighting, sanitizer & extra toiletries! Firewood is provided which was awesome!! We will most definitely be back!! The area has a lot to offer!! Close to fishing, hiking, biking, boating, floating/kayaking...etc! So much to do, yet nice to relax by the fire! Thanks again for a great stay!!

I loved camping on Mikes land. First of all, the hosts were phenomenal, they went above & beyond during our stay- best host we’ve had! Second, the treehouse and camping area were adorable & had a nice calm & relaxing vibe about them. Lastly, the stay was also pet friendly and was in a great location where it was close enough to stores you could get anything you needed easily, but far enough away from others that you feel like you have your own space. I would definitely recommend the camp and host to all our fellow hipcampers out there. Thank you for a WONDERFUL stay!!!!!
