We really enjoyed our stay at Peter lake side property. Peter and his daughter were very welcoming and helpful. There was plenty of room to park our van, a great lakeside fire ring, picnic table and cabana. We had a very nice paddle in the kayaks, I wish had more time to explore more of the three beautiful lakes. I look forward to returning sometime.

Great quiet camp location surrounded by Hiawatha National Forest and on the shore of lake Ostrander. We found a great level spot for our camper van. Lake view was awesome. Nice conveniences as well such as two picnic tables and chairs etc… Communications with host and directions were great.

What a beautiful spot to camp! We were there with family and had two rigs parked at Pete’s. We had plenty of space and they made us feel right at home. Chopped wood for us to use, kayaks, paddle boat, row boat and a dock. Our two toddlers loved the little sandy beach area and shallow water. The view was breathtaking, we couldn’t have picked a better place to experience the UP. Pete took us for a ride on his pontoon to show us around the lake and we spent lots of time fishing from the land and from the tow boat. We were so sad to leave and had nothing but good things to say about our experience.

We had a great time spent on Lake Side, nice and quiet, the view is very beautiful
The camp site is as described, our kids had a lot of fun during our stay, the owner was a great person,we didn't expect what was offered to us
