We are closed seasonally from October 15th until May 1st.  WE DO NOT OFFER FIREWOOD ANY LONGER! PLEASE DO NOT TAKE MY OLD MAN'S FIREWOOD. Four full hook-up sites. Max RV length is 38' depending on what site you book! Sites #1 and #2 can accommodate a 32' RV and Sites #3 and #4 can accommodate a 38' RV. If your RV is over 38' we cannot accommodate you. You must back into the driveway from the road (there are no pull through sites). Our driveway is 15' - 20' wide for ease of backing up. 20/30/50 amp electrical, sewer, water, internet WIFI (100mbs), fire pit (please do not move fire pits), and a picnic table are included for each site. Trash bin is at the road. The sites are level, consist of crushed concrete gravel covered by 6a stone, and are 12' wide. One family per site unless you are booking as a group.   Check-In is 1:00 p.m. and Check-Out is 11:00 a.m. At this time, we DO NOT accommodate stand alone tent camping as we have no restroom facilities. Pets are welcome but we ask that you clean up after them, be mindful of other guests, and be respectful of our neighbor's property. IF YOUR PET IS ON THE NEIGHBOR’S PROPERTY YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE and no refund will be provided. You are in a land carved by glaciers, seriously! A place away from the rest of the world, but within a short drive to the best Northwest Michigan has to offer. We are on a quiet road away from the hustle and bustle. Peaceful, quiet, one acre property surrounded by deep wooded forests. If you are looking to get away, this is it!  A private, full hook-up, RV campground with all the amenities including high speed internet. This is glamping at its BEST! You will not find a more charming place so close to the lakes of Northwest Michigan's lower peninsula and all within driving distance to the coolest cities. In full disclosure, we are not a commercial resort campground or a state park: this is our family property. We are excited in the joy and happy moments this land brings to our family and others. If you want a place with a hundred sites and tons of people around you this is not going to be a place you want to stay. Bring your boats, canoes, kayaks, bathing suits, and fishing poles!  Less than a 3 minute walk to Echo Township Park (Six Mile Lake) with beach, playground and boat launch (yes, you can literally walk there).  25 minutes to Torch Lake Township Day Park (Torch Lake), Antrim Creek Nature Area (Lake Michigan), Norwood Township Park (Lake Michigan), Elm Pointe Recreation area (Lake Charlevoix's South Arm), or Notewares Landing Beach (Lake Bellaire).  This is by far the coolest place east of the Mississippi to hit rivers, streams, and lakes. Hiking at its best!  Glacial Hills Pathway and Natural Area Trailhead (Bellaire); Avalanche Preserve (Boyne City); Sleepy Hollow Nature Preserve (East Jordan); and Northpoint Nature Preserve (Charlevoix). Go shopping or out to eat!  15 minutes to East Jordan (breakfast at Southarm Cafe is a must / dinner at Las Maracas for tacos), Bellaire (Short's Brewery), Central Lake (visit Bachmann's Five and Dime) or Ellsworth (Front Porch Cafe Breakfast).  25 minutes to Charlevoix (don't forget to visit Castle Farms on the way).  30 minutes to Boyne City (Indo China Gardens has great Asian cuisine). 35 minutes to Elk Rapids (Pearl's New Orleans Kitchen). 45 minutes to Petoskey.  1 hour to Traverse City.  Hour and a half to Mackinaw City. Wine and beer are good! Hit up Cellar 1914; the Cellars at Royal Farms; Bier's Inwood Brewery; 1918 Cellars; Chateau Lake Charlevoix; Waterfire Vineyards Torch Lake; Torch Lake Cellars; Vista Ridge Vineyards; and Short's Brewery!  Things for kids to do! Ravenhill Discovery Center in East Jordan! Hungry Ducks Farm to pet some animals and go trout fishing. Visit Castle Farms!

Very quiet setting, remote but not far from town. Check out the Amish farm market not far from camp site. Deer and owls within sight of campsite.

Great location! Not to far from all of northern Michigans great inland lakes and other adventures.Peaceful and private! And the neighbors we had at the other sites were great as well! Full site hookup was perfect!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chain of Lakes. Jeffery is a very responsive host and wants to make sure that arrival goes well. He called me when I hadn't responded to his message in the Hipcamp app. It was awesome to have full hookups available. He was clear that there is no cell service but offers WiFi. We didn't use his WiFi since we travel with Starlink that worked great. If we visit Michigan again, we will certainly stay again and for longer to have the peace and quiet we love.

It was a perfect place to stay with our dogs. It was quiet and clean and everything was great. We were close enough to all the attractions but returned to our quiet surroundings each evening.

This camp site is really nicely maintained. The hook ups are modern and easy to find. We stayed in site 4 which was nice to have the extra space for our 2 pups. Jeffery was communicative and helpful. We'd stay again and would definitely recommend to others!

Site 4 - Chain of Lakes Camp (Six Mile Lake)
The campsite is extremely clean, level, and has full hook up for our class c 32 foot RV. Plenty of room at the site, including a place to park a truck and boat.. We were the only ones there which made it super peaceful. The beach/boat launch is a brief 3-5 minute walk from the campsites. 6 mile lake is beautiful and worked well for our speed boat to pull kids tubing. It looks like good fishing too. We were able to hit up torch lake, Bellaire, and Charlevoix- all within 1/2 hour drive from the campsite. Jeff was great on communication before we arrived and after. Make sure you write down the WiFi password before you get there because the cell service is almost nonexistent until you go down by the boat launch /park. Great place to stay- I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to camp.

Jeff was great! Great wifi! Full hookup. Don't forget to write down the wifi password... literally no cell service out there. Would definitely recommend!!

We had a great time. It was close enough to East Jordan, Charlevoix, and Traverse to have plenty of things to do. The full hook up was great as well.

We had a great 4 night stay. It was quiet and secluded and just a short walk to the lake. The wifi was much better than the bigger camp grounds. We were able to stream Netflix without any issues.. We will be back!

This was such a lovely location to set up camp for several days. Jeffrey's land is centrally located to a lot of sightseeing adventures - just a half hour from Charlevoix. There was so much to do we couldn't fit it all in! The site itself was impeccable - clean and well maintained, level gravel sites, fire pit, picnic table, and plenty of room to romp around and play some outdoor games. Full hookups made for perfect glamping with privacy! The property runs along a beautiful forested area. At night it looks so enchanted and mysterious! Really beautiful. As noted, there isn't much for cellular service (we have AT&T with a WeBoost and got one bar at most), but the provided WiFi was super fast and reliable. Also, Jeffrey was super quick to respond to text messages and very friendly. One word of warning, and this isn't against the property at all. If you have a dog and go for a walk, be wary of the neighbor two doors down. He keeps his dogs off leash and they are aggressive towards other animals. Fortunately we avoided an incident, but the neighbor was far from friendly in calling his dogs off. The dogs weren't interested in my kids when they took on a walk on the road, but I wouldn't let them walk the dog without an adult. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Well-maintained site. Jeff cares about his customers. He sent multiple reminders and tips to us and made sure we got to the site safely. The site is not the closet to Traverse City or Elk Rapids but it’s conveniently located to other small towns with water access and much less traffics.

Lovely place and very convenient to use as a base for touring the area. Central Lake is only 10 minutes drive and has breweries, restaurants and groceries. There is no cell coverage but the WiFi provided had plenty of bandwidth. The site was level and backing in from the road was not a problem as there was plenty of area for turning into the driveway. Jeffery was a great host and provided everything we needed.

It was a great location, right down the road from the beach! Perfect for RVing if you don't mind having a few neighbors. It was nice and secluded, the space was a little smaller than the pictures made it appear, but it was a great experience!

Jeffery is responsive and prompt. Very accommodating. His place is great! And I’m not sure how he did it, but he has awesome WiFi at his place for those working while traveling. There’s no cell service, so the WiFi is needed to make calls. We walked the nice wooded road to the beach a few times, but also made our rounds to all the farms in the area. Close to them all! Planning to stay here in October to catch the colors. Thanks Jeffrey! You were awesome.

Extremely clean & beautiful sites. Short walk to a beautiful lake with beach & fishing. Very quiet up north feel. Peaceful & did i say clean?? Id go back. Porta potty, water & electric all worked perfectly.

We just spent Memorial weekend with our friends and occupied all three sites. We highly recommend this property it is beautiful and tucked in the woods. Jeffrey was so accommodating and we look forward to camping here in the future.

Great spot for a few friends with campers to enjoy some ALONE time! This property was great, private and had everything you need. Lots of fun little towns to visit nearby as well :) loved it!

Our site at Jeffrey's property was very nice! We enjoyed the privacy very much. Very nice having full hook up and free firewood! Jeffery kept in contact throughout the entire process and was very helpful. The site was walloon distance to the beautiful 6 mile lake which we kayaked. It was also close to Charlevoix, traverse city, boyne city and Walloon lake, all of which we visited easily from the site. Would recommend and come again!
