Everyone who we met at the camp was super friendly. We will definitely be back when the weather is warmer. We used about a bundle of firewood each night. Can’t wait to experience CampIt in the summer months.
Our dog Spike had a good time too! Even though it rained.

I showed up late in the season. The place is really clean and well kept. If you have a bicycle you can ride to town for a few beers at the local bars.

It was queer heaven! We didn’t intent to go for any events but it was “sweatHER weather weekend” and that just brought the best vibe. The open tenting was a bit rough to find a spot on a busy event weekend late at night when we arrived but that’s hardly the site’s fault! Just something to watch out for. All the staff were super friendly and kind and helpful. And so were the other campers! Will definitely be coming back, just absolutely going to prepare for a more extroverted weekend!

Campit is heaven on earth! It is a safe and joyful haven for LGBTQ+ campers and RVers across the Midwest, and I love staying here as an annual tradition. The staff is so attentive, the place is clean and well-run, and they have so many fun activities.

Overpacked, tents are basically sitting on top of each other. They should have a capacity limit but they just let people in no matter how packed it gets. They said they have quiet hours but they don’t enforce it. They have golf carts with overly bright lights. You’re not allowed to have your car parked where your campsite is but they allowed a big sprinter van to park where the tents are. Also when we came back from exploring the town and there were two tents that were literally on top of our stuff.

Friendly welcoming staff on entry and throughout stay; the community was warm. Primitive campsites (Creekside) were incredible, beautifully nestled and tucked away under canopy, as social or private as you want.

Campit was a great campground with clean facilities, free wifi at the office, a shop with basics (supplies, food, drinks), small gym, lovely pool with lots of lounge chairs and swim floaties , access to washer and drier, hot showers, plumbing bathrooms and porter potties around camp, and a great community! My least favorite part was being able to hear the road + distant highway when trying to fall asleep, but this bothers me more than most people! It gets rowdy on the weekends with their themed weekends but it’s quiet during the week. I am a cis woman and felt very comfortable staying here. During the week there was only one person camping close to me but during the weekend there were about 6 groups in tents around me (so close I could hear snoring) and I was at the most “remote/quiet” site (creekside) !! If you are looking for more of a resort with a great pool, social scene, amenities.. then this is a great place for you! If not , you might find it too loud, and not as immersive in the “rustic” camping experience. Very close to the beach (7 mins from west side county beach) and close to antique shops and bigger towns (saugatuck/douglas). All in all- great place and will definitely be back to visit with an intent on partying more / expecting it to be a bit rowdier!

We had a great time camping at Campit! The weekend activities and opportunities to be social made it a weekend we won't soon forget. Everyone was so kind and fun. The bivvy tent had plenty of room inside and it was so nice to arrive and not have to set up our own tent. We are already looking at dates to return next year.

My partner and I had a fantastic time at Creekside Campsites. While it was super busy for the holiday, we found a nice little spot between some trees for our tent. The amenities across the site are a quick walk in any direction. It was great to have a pool to spend time in on our trip as well. We loved the opportunity to attend pre planned events and enjoyed chatting with people across the different sites. We felt very welcome and would stay again.

Campit is a wonderful place for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies to relax and recreate with each other. The property is beautiful, and the people are genuine.

Everyone there was very nice. The cabin we got was very cozy and comfortable, and the vibes were good overall. The site is also in a very nice location. It’s very quiet, and it’s a good place for stargazing! It’s also very close to a lot of different small business that were very lovely to explore! 10/10 would recommend this place!

I thoroughly enjoyed my second visit to Campit. It was even better than my last visit two weeks ago. This time I booked for Creekside and was much closer to the Clubhouse. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The accommodations were great, very comfortable and had everything I needed. I hope to visit again soon.

my day was absolutely phenomenal when we checked in. It was late, around 11 PM, but they were still so friendly and quick to accommodate. We were told that they had accidentally overbooked the specific site/tent style we had reserved, so as a courtesy, they upgraded us to a lovely little cabin (YESSS!) with a hot shower and bathroom as well as an electric fireplace and air conditioning unit. What a lovely surprise! The staff was super helpful and accommodating, and the grounds are absolutely lovely as are all the other guests!
