Beautiful spot well taken care of. Very clean composting toilet. Loved seeing the stars. A bit noisy by the road but was beautiful!

You can tell they take pride in their spot! You can’t get a better bathroom experience for an outhouse. Lovely fire pit, great little two person bench. Very well maintained. We are looking forward to returning!

This is such a nice boondocking spot. The spring water and clean bathroom make it easier to stay for longer periods of time. I really appreciated the option to pay for firewood delivery as well. I enjoyed wading in the river and watching the sun set over the trees.

This was our 3rd stay at Boondock, the property was beautiful as usual! The mosquitoes are killer though so come with lots of spray, lanterns etc. Then kids liked walking up the river and floating back 😄

Beautiful land. So peaceful and perfect. My fiancée and I came here a few years ago and we loved it so we just had to come back!!! It is the perfect little roadside hideaway and I’m so happy we decided to make that part of our trip!

I enjoyed my stay at Boondock Ridge. I solo camped in my tear drop camper. This was my first Hipcamp. The host made everything clear on how to get to the site, had a pile of wood waiting for me under a tarp tucked under some trees and also recommended some areas to ride my bike. (which I didn't do because I got a flat in my bike tire! LOL)
The site was perfect! The views were great. the site overlooks the river which was clear with a sandy bottom. A short walk down to my own personal dock with a ladder to get into the water. Which was very helpful because I have bad knees and legs. The site had a fire pit, picnic table and a 2 person bench over looking the river. Great for relaxing and just enjoying the sites and sounds. The compost toilet was very nice. i never used one before. The toilet was tucked away in the woods, clean and very well kept.
I seen 2 rabbits, 4 chickens (on the side of the road) and a couple bumble bees that were having a great time in those flowers. The night time was alive with sounds of nature! good stuff.
I had to leave early due to a family emergency but will for sure be back for another stay. Thank you Nick and Teresa.

This was our third time staying at Boondock Ridge and we had a great time just like the other two.
We brought binoculars and we saw some amazing birds like a bald eagle, green heron, American redstart, gray catbird, rose breasted grosbeak, and the usual blue jays. I would highly recommend bringing binoculars and watching over that ridge.

The place was very nice and exactly as described! I wish there was a little less road noise, as it’s pretty loud with all the cars passing and the roadside park being right across the street. Other then that the dock and amenities provided was excellent.

Great spot! There is road noise but the tree lines make it feel private and the view is as pictured.
Bathroom facility super tidy and well stocked. Wood delivery was speedy and our dogs loved having the space to themselves. We would highly recommend this camp!

We have had the opportunity to stay at Boone Dock Ridge quite a few times now. The fact that we keep coming back says it all.
Gorgeous site with plenty of room and options for set up. The bottom half of the site near the water is a secret hidden gem :-)
We will be back again next year likely a few times!

This was our second trip to Boondock Ridge, and we had an amazing time! We love everything about the place, from the spacious accommodations to the stunning view of the river. Our husky/lab absolutely loves swimming in the river, and we had several clear nights to observe the stars and enjoy a roaring bonfire. The hosts are friendly and helpful, and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

This place was a perfect place to camp! Exactly what we were looking for. Private, great view, river was great for swimming (and the dog loved it!), and clean! Close to the road but still private, we lucked out though bc the road was closed due to construction so no noise for us! This place is truly a gem!

Place was great! The road is close, but easy to ignore. Water entry is a bit steep at the shore, so more difficult for the older dog. But she loved laying in the sun on the dock!

We really enjoyed our stay here at Boondock Ridge.
The property is well maintained. Even though we didnt use it, I really liked the extra fire pit further into the woods down by the river.
The outhouse is very nice and was clean.as well.
I definitely recommend a stay here and would do so again.

We arrived and took in the beautiful views the site offered. The upper year is huge and flat with the best little outhouse ever! The lower tier is a much smaller space but soooo beautiful with an ice cold little spring and nice dock. We were able to tie off our floating pad on the river and really enjoy the fresh water and take in nature. It was just what our family needed. Thank you! We will be back!

This place is such a treasure! My expectations were really exceeded. The lower level of the camp ground is so peaceful and serene and the top level offers amazing views, a very well kept outhouse and ample space to move around. I will definitely be returning to this little slope of woodsy paradise

This was my second visit to Boondock Ridge, and it was a great experience. The site(s) are very clean and well cared for, and the view is fantastic.
The property offers a variety of settings in nature, so no matter if you are a sky watcher, a water lover, or a nature bug, you have all of those options and more.
And the lovely little outhouse, is the best smelling bathroom I have ever been in!

What a great site! Private, clean, easy terrain. Cleanest outhouse I’ve ever used. The artesian spring was such a bonus. The river was clean and our dogs had such a great time. Thank you to Nick and Teresa for sharing their space .
