This campsite offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for campers looking to explore the nearby areas of Cape Cod and Boston. While the location is convenient, some campers noted noise from traffic, a nearby airport, and a gun range. However, the site itself is well-maintained, clean, and features thoughtful additions like hammocks and a fire pit. The host, Kathleen, is often praised for her hospitality and helpfulness, making it a favorable choice for many.
The campsite was very cozy. We couldn't beat the proximity to both cape cod and Boston. The only downside to our stay was the amount of surrounding noise. Road traffic could be heard throughout the day and night, and in the mornings there was noticeable noise from nearby airport activity and a gun range. In hindsight, I could have done a better job researching the surrounding area before booking so I would have been more aware of these potential noise levels. Aside from that, the campsite was incredibly clean, well-maintained and cared for. We really appreciated how tidy and well kept the site was!
Absolutely fantastic campground! Very cozy and easy to access the Park nearby! Can't recommend enough, the hammocks and chairs there where an awesome and much welcome addition
The site was so great. Our 16’ trailer had so much room to set up. Absolutely no issues finding the address, getting set up, and Kathy was a great host. She met our pups and checked in on us once during our stay. We will definitely be back!
I stayed for 1 night on a road trip from Nc to Maine then to the Cape. A needed a quiet place to sleep in my Outback for a night in-between seeing family and friends. I slept comfy and felt very safe. The place is set up really cute. I am a senior, solo traveler and would highly recommend for convenience, cleanliness, charm and safety.
We had a great time tent camping here! It has plenty of room, the kids loved the hammocks. We had a great time gathered around the fire pit making smores and popcorn over the fire.
Kathleen was very nice and helpful. Great communication. We used the site as a base of operations to explore Providence and Cape Cod. We brought a 23 ft Airstream, which was a tight fit but doable.
Overall it is a convenient location with thoughtful touches like a fire pit and playground. Host did not communicate or respond to any messages though and the portable bucket toilet was not provided as stated in the amenities.
Lovely opening in the trees out behind her home. We were safe and comfortable and all to ourselves. We were able to fill our water tank and run our generator. Kathleen even recommended a local fresh water pond where we went for a swim. A very good hipcamp!
The spot was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of sun for the solar and a place to park so we could explore the area for a couple of days. Owner was quick to respond to any questions.
Aside from getting rained out one day site was perfect. It was nice and a cool break away from what I now call “ commercial campgrounds “ really convenient and fairly close to many stores. Ideal primitive camping!
Wonderful location, close to Plymouth, with a great beach and lovely restaurants. Kathleen has a beautiful private spot behind house. Plenty of foliage between the house and the site. We took our puppy with us on his first camping trip and he loved all the woods and the smells and the sticks to chew on. Bring mosquito repellant and maybe citronella candles. Lovely fire pit. Kathleen was incredibly kinds and generous with her time when we could not find the electrical hookup ourselves.
This was a very nice little camp spot set up beautifully for tent campers. It does have electricity as an extension cord and a hose is hooked to the corner of the house. There is a grassy area to park an RV, but my suggestion is to be very careful when you are maneuvering in. With an RV because there is not any enormous amount of space to turn your rig around. When there are no other campers the site is very private. It has very easy access to Walmart and Plymouth to go see the Plymouth Rock. I enjoyed my stay here.
Kathleen was a great host, we were able to pull in after dark crash for the night and get setup in the morning for our second night. I enjoyed the hammock for a nice mid day rest. Watch out for ticks if you wander in the bushes (normal north east experience). Plenty of seasoned firewood available. Very Nice firepits.
Kathleen was very welcoming and accommodating! Great spot tucked away and cool little tables and chairs set back into the woods. Definitely a great option for being close to Plymouth
The site was very pretty but there were some issues.
We didn't get any communication about our questions and couldn't find electricity or how to pay for it.
Firewood was there, but since we came in after dark we didn't know immediately how to find the spot and first ended up near some "squatters" behind the barn with disturbing signage.
Then we parked behind the house and a man came out and told us we were on the septic. He seemed to not be the owner but expressed frustration about communication.
We finally walked around in the dark and found a clearing. It wasn't as nice as the photos, but sufficient.
In the morning, light aircraft kept flying over.
The sense of it was that it maybe used to be nice but the owner was not taking care anymore.
We loved this place!!!! The hammocks were a hit!! It’s tucked back under trees and has tables and chairs! Very thoughtful set up!!! We would def stay again!
Me and family love it very much. My kids didn’t mind at all when airplanes flew overhead they enjoy it very much. For us as a family of 5 we enjoy it and being next to fire and just enjoying it together
This was a great place to stay. Kathleen couldn’t have been more hospitable and the property is wildly private and absolutely beautiful in the Fall. We hope to stay here again someday.
