Disappointing Experience

The listing showed us a cute and cozy farm with fun amenities and activities to enjoy. Unfortunately that was not our experience. Everything was closed for the season and undergoing renovations. While we understand sometimes it is unavoidable for interruptions, the nightly rate is high for the current offerings and there was no information on the listing warning campers about potential disruptions. If bringing an RV, the current setup involves daisy chaining extension cords and had voltage fluctuations. We did love seeing wildlife wandering around and we also appreciated being surprised with extra space to spread our campsite out instead of sharing one as we had planned! For anyone looking to escape to nature this campsite is noisy, you can hear cars, sirens, and trains all night long. Our advice would be to contact the host to verify what is available before booking your stay.

We never would have been able to make it in with our fifth wheel. The suggested spot had a small pad that sloped and would not accommodate a 44ft fifth wheel. We asked for a refund but were declined.

This location was tucked back in the woods in an area you wouldn't think could support camping, but once back in the area there was lots of space and privacy and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Nice stream, woods, and paths for a quick getaway from the city!
