Beautiful 50 acre semi wooded Amish Farm. Located in a serene setting this property boasts both farm animals and an array of wildlife. Just minutes from popular Fair Hill Maryland State Park Fairgrounds and Elk Neck State Park and Lighthouse. Quaint little country store/deli is less than a mile. Camp on a working Amish farm located on Middle Rd in rural Cecil County Elkton, Maryland. Nestled in a wooded setting with open fields to view an array of wildlife. Learn about Amish way of life. Enjoy a variety of farm animals as well as wildlife. Milk a Cow. Collect farm eggs. Amish buggy rides and farm tours every day but Sundays. Sites 1, 2, 3 and 4 can accommodate tent campers and RVs. Sites 1 2 and 3 are approximately 10 ft apart and spacious. all sites have fire pits. Site 1 ,2 ,3 and 4 have picnic tables. All Sites have charcoal grills. Will need your own charcoal, lighter fluid and foil for grate. Site 3 also has a grill attached to pit. Please be specific at booking if you are tent or RV camping and approx. length of RV.  We book rain or shine so please be prepared according to weather forecast.  What to expect.. This is a farm with many animals so please be aware that the rooster may crow very early. The goats may be noisy at anytime day or night. Most cases they are quiet at night but not always. The cows bellow and horses will whinny throughout the day. Farms also have farm smells so be aware it is not always pleasant. For the most part the campfires over ride the farm smells which is great!!  Please check our add ons. We will have fire wood available for purchase if you need it. Farm fresh eggs and seasonal garden vegetables may also be available. Amish baked goods may be purchased when available. We are 5 minutes from a 5000 acre park that boasts miles of marked trails for horseback riding, hiking or biking through rough or paved terrain. There is a creek for swimming also. Bring your own horses. We have stalls available or set up your own paddock next to your site. We have hay and straw available for purchase. Quiet and peaceful spot all by it's self. Easy to find and back into. There are lots of deer and you will have horses for neighbors :) I stayed a couple nights here as I was hiking near by. There are 3 other Hipcamp sites on the property and even with all of them booked, it was still very quiet. I would stay again if were in the area. Thanks for having us!

It was a great time. We had the chance to see many animals. The absolute cutest Goats, Races horses, llamas, and sheep as well. It was a great time. Definitely would go again.

We stayed at Ewe View for a search and rescue K9 training event nearby. It was quiet nicely groomed and the animals were very friendly with our dogs and visa versa. I had my own portable bathroom in my compact trailer but the people that stayed with me said the porta john on site was rather dirty with maggots! I would visit again

Directions were very clear, and the porta potty was very clean with plenty of supplies. I would not recommend or return to this location due to the noise level. It is a working farm, and I expected the sounds of animals, horses, roosters, what not. However, there was a continuous banging sound accompanied by what sounded like twelve small contained dogs barking. The banging and the barking continued into the night, making it difficult to fall asleep. I was supposed to return a week later on my trip back home, and opted to get a hotel room instead. In addition, i ordered an add on of eggs. There were no eggs at my campsite, and I never saw anyone during my stay. Also, the picnic table was covered with an old (almost disintegrating) plastic tablecloth. It was wet and very dirty and needed to be removed before I could even sit down, to avoid water dripping on my legs. It had been on the picnic table for so long that the wood underneath was wet and mossy/slimy so i basically fixed my food on the bench and ate in my lap.

Outhouse was very clean, but I did not expect farm noises to be so loud. There was a constant banging noise accompanied by what sounded like 10+ yippy dogs barking, and this never stopped. Very hard time falling asleep. I don't mind the sound of farm animals but the repetition of banging and barking was unpleasant. Also I requested an egg add on and never saw a person to get eggs from. I paid for a second night for my return trip home, but didn't go back.

Beautiful and peaceful place, very spacious, and lovely house pasture. Close to orchard, cider and river access. Excellent amenities: wash station, trash can, toilets. Had a great time.

I stayed here last year and it was awesome! I didn’t stay here this year because of the weather. But I would recommend this hip camp to anyone. Waking up to all the animals and the horses seeing the goats and hearing the puppies just made my morning.

We had the best time camping here! This charming farm exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by peaceful fields, friendly farm animals, and a thoughtful setup that made camping easy and fun for the whole family. The sites are spacious, clean, and easy to find. We especially loved staying at the Ewe Camp, which was a bit further from the other sites and gave us that perfect mix of intimacy and adventure. The racetrack was a huge hit—great for a morning walk, a scavenger hunt, or just letting the kids run around safely. The horses and sheep were a big highlight, and our kids were thrilled by the construction trucks working around the farm. It gave them so much to watch and explore. Even though it’s an active horse farm, there were no smells and no flies by camp, which was a pleasant surprise. Karen was amazing—she checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The amenities were well thought out: picnic tables, firewood, a cozy fire circle, trash bins, and a water station with soap. The porta potty was clean and stocked with toilet paper and Clorox wipes. Close to Calvert Park and Plumpton Park Zoo. A great, low-stress spot—especially for first-time campers and families!

This campsite was nothing short of exceptional. The sites were incredibly well-maintained, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay—clean picnic tables, a sturdy fire ring with wood provided, a grill, and even a water container with soap for easy cleanup. The setting was peaceful and relaxing. One of my favorite parts was just sitting by the camp watching the horses play and run—it made for a really special experience. As great as the day was, the night was even better. It was so quiet and calm, making it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a peaceful, well-equipped place to camp. I’ll definitely be back!

We loved our stay on this farm. The land was really beautiful and the sites were well maintained. Cow corner had two horse staying right next it so it was fun to have them as neighbors. Karen was also very responsive and was willing to help with anything we needed. We’d definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area.

Great stay on a really fun property. It’s a working horse farm with all kinds of interesting stuff going on. The sites are large and well spaced. I spent a wonderful evening relaxing and watching the horses graze.

Beautiful views, beautiful sunsets and tranquil setting at this Amish farm. Enjoyed watching two brand new foals grazing right in front of us during our stay as well as other horses. Appreciated the firewood, fire ring and picnic table.

I grew up on a farm so it was right up my alley! There really wasn’t anything about it that I didn’t like and so much that I loved. Having horses for neighbors was very entertaining, enjoyable and relaxing, especially the two week old colt and it’s mom. It was a perfect Mother’s Day weekend with my daughter and three grandkids. I would go again in a heartbeat. I also enjoyed the variety of animals and the people I interacted with were very pleasant

My mother lives in an RV and can’t park near me in the city so this was a great alternative. My family loved watching the horses in nearby pastures and seeing the other farm animals - especially my 3 grandchildren. It was a great first tent camping experience for them. They stayed 1 night, we stayed 3 nights total. The site was flat and easy to get to by car and RV and had plenty of space in the shade. My dog didn’t sleep the first night while keeping an eye on the horses 😂 but he enjoyed all the new sights and smells.

I came from New Jersey here by bikecycle (bikepacking) slept one night. I arrived very late. I left back in the morning. There was very little time to enjoy this place But place looks perfect . Clean , grass, shade , fire rings , tables and benches . So quiet the only thing you will hear are animals ,horses walking near the tent. Awesome . I have to come back and spent more time in this campsite and this area. That's perfect area to gravel cycling .

We booked rather last minute for a over night stay passing through on our way to Maine, showed up at night time pulled right off the drive way into the camp ground and it was surprisingly Level for us, I contacted ahead to ask about being over length and was assured it wouldn’t be an issue for this spot and it wasn’t at all. We got some much needed rest and left out early the next morning.
