We loved it here! Felt like we were in the middle of no where! We didn’t see the host much (which we found nice), but he was prompt to respond to messages. Definitely meant for smaller set ups, but they were still able to accommodate our 38ft travel trailer.

The site was big enough for me to park travel trailer. I love the feeling of being way back in the woods and way close enough to the roar that it was easy to get to. I only wanted the site with out any accomidations. All the fire was free and was nice to have a fire and not run low on fire wood.

We enjoyed our stay at Willow Creek Homestead! It felt a lot like camping in a national forest, which we loved. We had no issues finding where our site was and was able to get set up pretty fast. The campsite would be perfect for both smaller RVs and tent campers. We stayed in our 22-foot campervan and ended up parking with our nose sticking out just a tiny amount so we could be level, but there was plenty of room for us to back further into the site. I think a longer RV would not have issues at all. There was a firepit with wood ready and plenty of space if you wanted to set up a canopy or tent. We loved getting to explore the woods and being able to play with our dog during our stay. Definitely recommend this Hipcamp!

Great spot in the woods … feels very secluded and no traffic of other campers trying to set up camp. All the spots are spread out enough that you don’t even know there are other campers! This is exactly what we wanted and had a hard time finding anywhere else on the east coast.

The site was easy to find and access, but felt relatively private and secluded. There was an RV and another tent within earshot, but aside from one or two car doors closing, they were quiet and unobtrusive.
There was plenty of dry wood all over the place, but mostly semi-rotted, so it burned hot and fast...No problem, just had to keep adding more.
All in all, a fine tent site. Not much in terms of 'attractions' as there is no water, views, or hiking directly from the site. Robert's Pond looks like it could be fun if you know where to access it and drive <5 minutes from the site.
If you're looking for easy convenience for a tent site in this area, this does the trick!

Stay here! This is a great quiet place in the woods! Only a couple camp sites and they are very spaced out … we really enjoyed the chance to let our little guy explore without worrying about traffic or bothering other campers. K The host went above and beyond to make a space for us at last minute after I had made a mistake with my reservation. He was incredibly responsive to my many questions. Also great cell service if you need it. My husband was able to work remotely in the middle of the woods - truly an amazing experience and great break from the daily grind. Robert also offers WiFi from his home if you park close … again - super accommodating. You can easily get water from the hose at the house.

Very nice spot to camp was very pleased with the stay. Especially being I couldn’t find any campgrounds with availability I was able to book this one last minute with no problems! It’s very quiet and secluded near multiple swimming areas with a nice fire pit and great spot to pitch a tent!

If you're looking for secluded camping in the woods this is your spot! We couldn't have picked better for our weekend away. It was so quiet and relaxing. You are completely submerged in the woods with a clearing to set up camp. Waking up to the sounds of birds and ending our evenings looking up at the stars around the fire pit- pure magic. We are definitely hoping to go back soon!

A great, quiet place to rest amongst the birch and pine. Robert's land is pristine and he has an awesome spot to get away from the city for a bit. I will definitely be staying there again soon!

Wonderful little spot for tent camping. Robert's land, even though close to his house (and thus to a source of water), feels secluded, we heard a lot of animals in the woods, the spot itself is well prepared for a tent, alongside a little fire pit with plenty of wood around for burning. Highly recommend.

This was our second trip to the homestead and we will likely be back again! Tried for the new site this time but couldn’t find it. The Robert was easy to contact and let us stay in the other site which we had been in before. The fresh eggs were DELICIOUS!

We had a wonderful time camping at Robert's lovely site! It's very private, since it's a couple minutes drive down the gravel/dirt road past the house. What a peaceful setting! Definitely hope to come back sometime and stay for longer. Thanks again, Robert!

Quiet, private and lots of critters. Greeted by a snake when we arrived and a couple fawns and a doe in the morning. Heard owls and the sound of running water from the small stream near the campsite. Stone fireplace with 2 log seats. Planning to go back with my wife soon.
