This small cabin is located on my ten-acre property, nestled in the woods. A composting toilet and a bathhouse are available for guests. There is one air mattress available for two people. There is a wood stove for heat. Wood may be purchased. The water hose is not available in cold months, but drinking water is available. The property sits adjacent to our family’s blueberry farm, home to hundreds of high-bush blueberry plants of various varieties. My property is 10 acres within the 4th-generation family's 100 acres, including the Dixon Family Berry Farm. There is a queen-sized air mattress. There are no linens except pillows unless requested for a separate fee for washing. There are a few electrical outlets. No Wi-Fi is available on site. There is a water hose available in warm months, but not in cold, so please bring your own water if needed. There is a wood stove for heat, with the option to purchase a bundle. Please do not forage for wood in the surrounding area for the stove, only for the outside firepit. There is no AC; the windows open/shut as needed. There is a composting outhouse available with compostable liners and sawdust. There is a bathhouse with a camping shower and a sink available for filling with water. It is a short drive to Lake George State Park in Canaan, which is a lovely swimming spot. The property is about twenty minutes from both Waterville and Skowhegan. Great spot for a quiet solo getaway. The cabin is simple and exactly as described, and the peaceful setting made it easy to relax and unplug. The highlight for me was stepping outside at night and seeing such a clear sky full of stars.

Michelle's cabin was a great spot to stay overnight, she was communicative and clear with directions and always easy to get in touch with. The cabin was quaint, cosy and fit 3 people without a problem, the outhouse and shower were clean and super helpful, too - definitely would stay again!
