Experience a true Maine adventure in a beautiful off-grid cabin. Close to Acadia National Park and other scenic destinations, the cabin sits on 7 acres with direct access to the Downeast Sunrise Trail. This unique stay offers the chance to truly unplug and relax. The cabin has no running water, electricity, or internet. We provide 20 gallons of water for dishes and a solar shower bag. Charged lamps and solar twinkle lights are on-site. Indoor bucket/compost system is available, along with an outdoor outhouse. The cabin includes a full propane stove, refrigerator, and freezer. Available year-round for long or short stays, the cabin sleeps 2. One additional guest can be accommodated during warm weather with the futon on the porch. More guests can stay on the property in tents for an additional fee. There is also the possibility of a full summer RV rental in the field—contact us for details.
