Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Family owned property obtained through the barter system. You shingle my barn and I'll give you that property. My Pappy's land. 11 acres. Recently cleared for its timber. With some landscaping it became clear that beautiful campsites were forming. My father is 78 years old. The last thing he ever thought he would be doing with his retirement is jumping back on his excavator. Can't keep a good man down. Now here we are. Father and daughter. One day my children. 3 large tent sites and two camper sites. Future cabin and seasonal RV sites. A brook runs through the property but dries up after June. There is a small pond with rock stairs. Deer and turkey are frequently seen. Peace and serenity. This property does not offer complete seclusion. You will see other campers if all 3 sites are occupied. There is spacious distance. What this location offers is that it is centrally located to mountains, oceans, lakes, concert venues, restaurants, nightlife, shopping and antiquing. Traveling to NH and Massachusetts is a day trip. A few hours and your in central Maine. Cross the border into Canada. So much to explore or just relax. Stay a few nights or stay the season. 2023 is off to a great camping season. Already meeting new campers. Hopefully I'll see some familiar faces from 2022. A few upgrades. There is an outside water faucet, an outlet and an outside shower...hot and a privacy fence. There is a bathroom/shed that contains a toilet. Goats are coming. Yes goats. Not until fall though. The frog pond population continues to grow. A neighboring town is finding 3 legged frogs in their ponds. Apparently caused by a parasite. Let me know if you find any. 2024 was another great season. New faces that I hope to see again. The summer weather was great for camping. A large Bell Tent and a small portable camper was purchased for those who are seeking more of a glamping experience. WELCOME BACK for 2026... 2025 had some complications unfortunately. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to invite anyone to my property. Consider yourself invited for the 2026 season. I look forward to hosting new and repeat campers. There is a free weekend offer for those who would like to camp and work to prepare for Memorial Day weekend. WELCOME ALL!!

This site is near a pond with a meditation stone. A brook runs through the property but tends to dry up towards the end of June. Trout has been caught. This is the smallest of my 3 sites. It provides the most shade. Flat and grassy. Parking for 2 vehicles and 4 tents. You will encounter other people, but it is a quiet, peaceful area. Lots of downed limbs for bonfires. Wood provided. New for the 2024 season is a heated outdoor shower.

Large, grassy, level site. Can pitch several tents or park an RV. Stream and small pond are great meditation and yoga sanctuaries. This site is closest to the stream. A pleasant sound to listen to as you are drifting off to sleep. Centrally located to mountains, oceans, lakes, concert venues, restaurants and shopping. Access to 4 wheeling, hiking and mountain bike trails. Or simply just appreciate the quiet. New for the 2024 season is an outdoor shower providing hot water.

This site is within close proximity to my house, goats ducks and neighbors. It's a quiet but not completely secluded area. A short walk to an outdoor heated shower and toilet. Large stone fire pit and picnic table. Horse shoe pits nearby. Walk, bike or drive to the Saco River or Pequaket Lake. Canoes and kayaks can be rented at the lake for a small fee. Hike the trails around the lake and forage for blueberries. Access to mountain/dirt bike trails. Snowmobiling, cross country skiing and snowshoeing for the winter enthusiasts. Centrally located to mountains, oceans, shopping, farmers markets, breweries, restaurants, concert venues and nightlife. Stay a couple of nights or the entire season.
