Camped here October 25th. Beautiful site, great communication and amenities. We appreciated the availability of canoe and kayaks and had a very nice paddle up the river. We will be back.

Flat Rock on the river was the best campground my wife and I have ever experienced! We were secluded along the beautiful river in the middle of fall foliage. The sites were spacious and the fire pits were super nice! Will definitely be returning!

This spot is beautiful and the camp sites are thoughtfully arranged. I had an awesome stay for one night with the whole place to myself. My dog and I had so much fun exploring the river and taking a swim on a rare 80 degree September day. I will definitely return and bring friends/ family and plan a meal to make on the fire bowl grill.

Loved the place. I should have purchase the weather coverage they offer because unfortunately it rained the entire time so we weren’t able to use the kayaks or go fishing like we had planned.

Flat Rock Toddy
Flat Rock Toddy was the perfect site for my partner and my first camp out with a one year old foster baby. Spacious and pastoral, with a great view up the river and down the bend. It was quiet and isolated without being too far away from the swim hole and other amenities. Claude provides kayaks and a canoe to explore the river, and the swim hole is perfect for a dip. It's a great family friendly oasis away from the busy-ness of life. Hoping to make it back in spring when the water level is higher to explore the stream more!

I really loved this spot and would absolutely come back! It was very clean and obviously well cared for -- seems like a labor of love. The swimming was beautiful also! It was the perfect spot for a solo trip, because the site felt private but there are other campers close enough to feel 100% safe. It was also extremely nice to have kayak access!!!

The hosts were incredible! The sites are spacious and private, and also very well kept! We had a wonderful camp and access to the river is easy. 10/10 recommend!!!
We loved camping here! It was an absolutely gorgeous spot- we saw a bald eagle, great heron, ducks and giant snapping turtle and heard the rippling water all night long. We were thrilled by amenities provided which made the price worth it: firewood, canoe/kayaks, a very clean porta potty, very nice fire ring with grill...everything! We will definitely be back, hopefully soon! Thank you, Claude!

Such a perfect spot for me and three sons, ages 4,8 and 10! They loved exploring the river, kayaking and enjoying the shaded lots. Thank you so much, Claude!
What a perfect site! Excellent river views and a short walk to the swimming area. The amenities are amazing- shared kayaks and river floaties, plus the site had a very nice fire pit, picnic table, trash can, and stack of firewood. Claude was so helpful in prepping the site and providing extra mosquito torches. I cannot recommend this site enough!

beautiful campsite, clean, and well equipped with fire pit, bathroom, and table!
We had an amazing time camping on Claude’s property! It was 4 adults and our 2 boys. 8 and 9. They had a blast exploring the rocks and the swimming hole was a complete hit!!
The site was spacious and clean. Wood and tiki torches provided! We will definitely be back!!

Camp sites are amazing and the hosts were excellent. Sites are spaced out with plenty of room. You couldn't ask for a better location. I will definitely be returning
had so much fun! the water was so clean and warm. every campsite looked amazing. we stayed for a couple of nights and wished we stayed longer. i loved how they offered wood and made sure to restock and had tikis for the bugs. they accidentally double booked us for the first time and were so nice about it (they are now preventing it for the future). they gave us a free stay and let us pick any available campsite. they we’re lovely and i highly recommend.
This campsite was difficult to find initially. There was a tent setup there and it was evening. I tried calling the host a few times before he answered. It turns out the tent was supposed to be dismantled, but was available to use if we wanted (no extra cost). That's what we decided to do since it was late. Most sites are not taken. This site is quite private from the others, definitely recommended for privacy. We enjoyed it and enjoyed the free use it canoe and kayaks. The swimming holes was nice as well. Porta potties were clean, would be nice if the bathroom situation was better but it was in the listing, so expected.

Flat Rock Quarry Site
It was a beautiful campground. The owners were very helpful they answered any questions we had. I would definitely recommend going. This is definitely a spot I would be coming back too.
This spot is just incredible. All of the sites here are beautifully maintained wooded sites-you know neighbors are there but you aren't on top of them. Claude is so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. But the stand out here is the water and the rocks-we spent hours with this incredible natural swim spot all to ourselves. Acadia and other great places of interest are close by-but really we would have been content to just stay and play here the whole time. We can't wait to return.
Beautiful riverside campground with top notch swimming area. Extremely well maintained, stocked with firewood (donations accepted), trash cans on site, citronella torches (mosquitoes are no joke!). We stayed at both the Point and Big Oak sites in our pop up truck camper and had just enough room to get into both of them. Highly recommend!
This spot has wood chips on the ground, torches, and a really nice fire pit. The place looked very clean and felt secluded. They provided wood for us, which was perfect since we got there late. And the view of the river and watering hole was awesome! Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area. Thank you Claude!

We had a wonderful experience at Flat Rock. Claude was very helpful, communicative, and in talking with him during our stay you can tell he cares deeply about his sites and his guests’ experiences. We especially enjoyed swimming at the swimming hole. We strongly recommend staying at Flat Rock. Thank you Claude!
Such a great location! My friends and I stayed at Toddy and the view was beautiful. Claude was a great host who provided firewood and tiki torch fluid to help keep the mosquitoes away. The swimming spot was located in front of another one of the campsites but big enough for all to share. There were kayaks and a canoe plus floats available to use for free. There is also a port-a-potty on site that had been cleaned the day before we arrived. Pictures can be deceiving but if you're wanting to set up some hammocks, there are plenty of locations to do so. The only thing I would change is which campsite we picked just due to having the water directly in front of us be still and we didn't trust swimming in it, though the swimming hole was only a few hundred feet away. We absolutely plan on coming back!
This was the most fantastic camping spot I’ve been to in a long time! Claude was the best host who went above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience. Paddling on the river and watching the eagles was a bonus. I hope to return again.
