I had a nice stay here. The privy was clean and it's only 30-40 minute drive from Bangor. The sites are on a slight grade of a hill but it isn't that bad and they each have a fire ring and picnic table with a trash can.

Just a field with a Porta-pottie , a fire ring, picnic bench and a good view, but what more do you need? May be showers.

Nice spot. Very scenic. Quite quiet. Quite roomy. Very little level spots. Brooks is a nice little community with a cafe and a health food store and a new food market. Ralph’s cafe has had a line waiting for breakfast the 2 times I tried to eat there.

Such a beautiful view! I love staying here for so many reasons, such a perfect get away. This beautiful campsite sits at the top of a beautiful town that has everything you could need. I love taking in all the sites from the beautiful rural town to staring at the stars, The wide open space and fresh air is so relaxing. Deering Acres is by far my favorite get away 10/10

The view from Kimberly’s place is just gorgeous, stayed in the upper lot which was very nice the view again is gorgeous nice that there was a very clean pot a potty on site everyone I met even in town was pleasant to deal with.

We arrived at night to Deering Acre’s and really didn’t realize how beautiful it was until the next morning we went to the upper campground which was very nicely laid out and very cozy have a port a potty on the property was very nice and everyone was polite and very friendly including in the little quaint town of Brooks
Only thing I would advise people is to locate firewood before arriving pass that I would say it’s like heaven on Earth!!!

Camp sites were clean and easy to get to. Beautiful views! Easy day trip to Camden and Belfast. Bathrooms were well maintained as well. I would definitely go back.

It was very pleasant. I spent two nights in my pickup/softtopper camper. I set a canopy up over the picnic table and relax. I have a trifold mattress in my truck bed and it works well. The land does slope a bit but there is just enough flat at the top to park my truck level. But have some small blocking to level the picnic table. Very picturesque view looking down at the village of Brooks, and there are some nice shops and stores. I enjoyed it.

Nice site up on the hill in the corner. Firepit was good and nice view. Store close by to grab a few things. The grounds were clean and not muddy like all the reviews. It was nice green grass.

Clean port a potty. Trash cans and picnic tables provided. Beautiful views! Upper field is now open. Not much privacy between campsites and sites have a slope, but didn't really affect my stay. Good for tent or car camping, not so much for hammock camping. It's a great affordable option as a base to explore this part of Maine!

Overall, we had a great experience. The site was easy to find, clean, had a trash/table/restroom. The host was also very good at communicating. The one lacking part of the site was that the sites were not very level so we kinda slept on an incline.

The camping spot was a bit muddy but that was no problem we were some comfy there great amazing view of everything and there was rarely any wild life out so quiet just the sounds of birds were great we definitely recommend staying here 😊

Don’t expect anything to fancy. It’s a field with a couple of firepits and benches but does the Job for a couple of nights. Bear in mind that Acadia NP is about 1:30h away from the campground. Sadly the upper field wasn’t opened so choices for sites were limited. Host was very good at communicating!

Location was convenient. Cute food coop right down the road (walking distance.) The sites are lined up along two sides of a vast square field so there is no privacy but that did not bother our group. Each site had a picnic table and fire ring. Sunset was gorgeous! The portable toilet was a bit of a walk down the hill from the site we chose, but it was very clean.

We enjoyed our quiet 2 night stay with our self contained travel trailer. The views are great. It rained alot so we stayed up at the top end of the field to avoid any issues with the grassy field as the driveway is not graveled. The coop grocery in town is awesome and is under a mile away.

Love the view here. Camped her last summer and couldn’t wait to come back! I know it’s been a wet summer… and they ground was dry but the field was pretty over grown. Was mowed last year, so we weren’t prepared for tall grass with a child who has some sensory issues. Aside from the grass there were some campers in the lower field that look like they were set up for long term camping, They had cars coming in all throughout the night and we were uncomfortable using the outhouse as it was right next to a mobile home that seemed to be using it constantly. Hopefully we will be able to try again.

We had the upper field to ourselves. Great area for kids and dogs to run and play. Porta potty in the lower camping area was a quick walk away and was very clean. Close to Belfast and Camden. Definitely if van camping bring levels. Noise from traffic was only a little noticeable during the day then really quieted down at night. Great star gazing!
