This Is second generation family land. We have taken care of the forest and preserving the large Oak trees that provide food for wildlife. For over 15 years we have had a outdoor educational center for families and children with nonprofit expanding opportunities. We are nearby coastal town of Belfast, the passasahuakeg river and beautiful Ellis pond. With many hiking trails nearby.

    I MEANT TO PRESS ‘WOULD RECOMMEND’
    Camp Forest
    Great secluded spot just a 60 minute drive from Acadia! Adam was a great host, and the fire pit was nice and dry with plenty of wood. The only note I have is that people should be aware that the campsite is about a 2 minute walk from the parking area through the woods. We managed just fine, but we weren’t expecting to have to carry all our stuff in so far. Don’t forget your bug spray here!

    We enjoyed our stay, host was friendly and helpful. Tarp area and fire pit was dry and made a good cooking and meal area. Outhouse was in good condition, and tent sites were well cleaned of debris. Would recommend
