The views truly are spectacular! We positioned our Bambi’s panoramic windows toward the cliff and enjoyed an incredible mountain view right from our camper.
The pavilion was a highlight of our October stay. With windy, chilly weather and rain one day, having that covered space made such a difference. The cast iron wood stove kept us cozy and helped dry our wet clothes. There was also plenty of firewood available to purchase.
One of the most magical moments was waking up in the clouds, surrounded by fog. By about 8 a.m., the wind and sunshine had cleared it away to reveal those gorgeous mountains again.
We also explored two nearby covered bridges and spectacular Grafton Notch State Park. A beautiful spot for a fall camping getaway—the views and pavilion alone make it well worth a visit!

Ty was a really great host! Super nice guy and very helpful. This had to be hands down one of the best spots I've had the pleasure of staying at. The view is unbeatable, and the amenities like the out door shower and pavilion make it more enjoyable. I had a blast staying here.

Perfect Name For This Site!

Wow! Ty’s place has a spectacular view. Ty met us in our way up and let us to a perfectly level place that he has created at the top of his land. We visited with Ty some while we set up and got a sense of his vision which was well underway. A cut above “an outhouse” with a compostable toilet and hand sanitizer and a really well
designed outdoor shower. The pavilion is a beautiful structure that provides protection from the rain with a table for dining and playing Uno ( we found the cards Ty!). There is a sink ( not quite functional yet) and cutlery for convenience. Ty has two Adirondack chairs on the deck of the pavilion perfectly situated to take in the sheer beauty of the view. The fire pit is right there and Ty offered for us to use whatever wood we wanted as he currently had an abundance from the construction. When my wife jokingly suggested as we texted Ty that we were headed out the next morning that all the site needed was a stock tank pool, he texted back that he built a cedar hot tub for the site but just hasn’t had time to install it. TY!!!! Hoping it’s installed when we return! Thank you for a great first stop on our way to Cape Breton.

Loved it! Great view and a nice setup. Shower and toilet were nice and easy. The pavilion was great because a rain shower passed over. This was one of the best Hipcamps I’ve been to. Hope to make it back one day

Seriously if you’re looking for a nice place to set up a tent, rooftop tent, camper etc. This is the perfect place.
Beautiful views to the west to watch the sun set over the mountains. No obstructions of view as it sits on a large hill ( slight incline driving in ) nice big fire pit with a bathroom, and shower!
Accidentally ran my battery in my truck down and the owner was nice enough to come up and help. Great people that seem excited to share a piece of their property with others!

The views at this spot were absolutely epic. From the landscape to watching the sun go down to the stars it was just awesome.
The pavilion was just a cool’s spot to hang on while taking it all in and the shower was perfect!
Only small thing it’s missing is some grass to hang out on but other than that it checks all boxes.

I came here with my boyfriend and doggo and we all absolutely loved it!! My dog was living his best life and free roaming like a wild and free animal, we thought the little wooden cabin was so adorable with lights and a perfect addition. The wine bottle was a sweet touch and a great birthday treat! The views were just like no other, just breathtaking and left me speechless everytime we looked out. The privacy was exactly what we were looking for, we felt totally secluded. Firepit was awesome! Place Easy to find. The compostable toilet and outdoor shower made it that much more convenient! 10/10 will be returning and recommending!

Steep approach but worth it!

Beautiful and private stay! I would agree with the reviews that mention the steep approach to the site. We made it with brand new tires on our dually but we were slipping the whole way up on the gravel and I didn’t think we were going to make it at times. That was pulling a 19’ travel trailer. So if you’re towing and you have bald tires, or if the ground is very wet, it might take you a couple tries. The view at the top is incredible though!

My husband and I brought our 3 pups for the weekend and had a great time camping on Ty’s very private land! The views were amazing at sunrise, sunset, and everything in between. What was nice about this site especially was the fact that we were surrounded by woods, yet had a good flat clearing to set up camp and for the dogs to run around where we could see them. The only downside to that was the lack of shade so we were very glad we brought our easyup canopy. The fire pit was nice and the bathroom accommodations were very clean.

Beautiful and private space with wonderful views. Dog loved being off leash and having the area to herself. Fire pit very spacious. Found moose tracks literally on the site!
Couldn’t deal with the bathroom situation/odor, but the space was plenty private to pee outside. All in all, would for sure go back!

It is a great view, but not worth the very steep long trail getting up to it. It was just as scary going back down as it was getting up. Also, the roads just getting there were narrow and twisty. Maybe a four-wheel-drive van would be OK.

Wow! Stunning views. Supreme privacy. Great communication with the hosts. Everything we look for in a spot. Our dogs were able to run free. We could walk to the outdoor shower naked :) The driveway was steep but not an issue for our F350 and travel trailer. Great location - we needed more time to explore. Would definitely come back. Breathtaking Views

Breathtaking views of the mountains and very private location. Wide open dirt area that was cleared on a hill side, with plenty of space for several tents/campers, plus a grassy area to the side. Great fire pit area w/ a metal grate available for cooking. Composting toilet available plus outdoor shower and sink. Driveway is gravel and goes up a semi-steep hill, but was completely fine with our jeep and pop up camper. Foliage just started recently and this weekend was a perfect time to visit! Sunsets are stunning at this site. Ty was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly with any questions we had. Thank you for a great camping weekend!

Incredible land, spectacular view. The night sky was vast and mesmerizing. What a welcomed surprise to have a fantastic cooking / fire pit, equipped with a metal grate, dry wood and a large stone wind block. Ripe blackberries were a great snack. The host and his lady are top notch people. I can’t wait to come back.
