Flower Field Campsite
This site didn't work for me. It was private enough for an overnight convenient to York attractions. What failed for my needs were the compost piles beside site and garden that were too much temptation for my dogs, So off leash would not be possible. The grass around fire pit and parking area too was long. Overall a messy appearance. A "working farm" is what it's called, so I suppose that's what you get. I also didn't like the feeling of being in someone's back yard, a small flower garden separates you and the house.

Campsite and driveway were well maintained, address was well marked, host was easy to reach, and the wood purchased made great fire. I would highly recommend a visit!

Flower Field Campsite
We had a great three-night stay at Flower Field Campsite. You park between the barn and the garden with easy access to water and electric hookups. Nicole was very friendly and respectful of our privacy, and even though there were two other RVs onsite, each had a dedicated, private space. The firepit and firewood were a nice bonus, and the location was ideal for exploring York, Ogunquit, and Cape Neddick.

This was such a lovely spot! It was nice being next to the garden and the fire pit had an amazing view of the back of the property. We would stay here again. Good location too.

We loved this site, very convenient to I95. Great place to spend a quiet scenic night while heading out to the further reaches of ME. Scenic garden and level site. Would visit again.

Had a wonderful stay at Nicole’s place..super quiet and convenient to local amenities. Only stayed for one night, but felt safe and peaceful by the barn.. highly recommended and will definitely reach out next time though the area 😊

Nicole was so accommodating and her camp was in a perfect location in York! Don’t be intimidated by reviews about traffic - down in the field is tucked away and a nice little escape in the cutest flower field! Highly recommend and we will be back :)

Overall a great experience, however I assumed the property would be more remote. It was located inside of a neighborhood and was difficult to find at night with the hard to see street addresses. Otherwise, a quiet lovely stay with privacy.

Super easy to find. SUPER cute farm. You can see hosts house and neighbors walking their dogs etc but if you don’t mind that it’s so perfect. Perfect for Hipcamp!

I had an excellent stay! The space is well cared for, and I had everything I needed. It’s a nice quiet spot with a great little fire pit. I definitely recommend getting the firewood extra as well. Highly recommended, and I hope to return!

Nicole's land behind the house was pure country. We even saw a deer grazing. Unfortunately, we couldn't stay the night as we had electrical problems so headed home. We would stay there again.

The spot is really cute, it would be great for a home base to explore the area or a one night stopover! One thing to note, we initially thought it would be more private than it was - the house and yard are essentially overlooking the site without a lot in between (although this might be different if you have a bigger RV or when flowers are in bloom). The open layout also meant that when hosts were outside in the yard or garden there was less privacy, although we really appreciated Nicole giving us a heads up when she needed to work in the garden next to the site - she was very communicative about everything. There are some neighbors next door that you can see and that can see you when they’re in their yard. It’s a good setup for for backyard camping and it would work great in a lot of situations, especially if you’re exploring the area rather than just stopping through for a few days and remote working like us. We usually prefer a little more space than there was, but having both water and electric for this price in the area was great.
Also if you have a dog that needs to be walked you may want to plan on driving somewhere nearby for that - the road is very narrow and windy with a decent amount of traffic so it’s not easy to walk a dog down.

Perfect Stop on Maine coast trip

Perfect set up for a Hipcamp! We have stayed at many sites over the years and this one was extremely convenient to find and easy to back our trailer in and out of. Great set up with the fire pit, table, chairs, and there was even power for us to hook up our trailer. Will definitely be stopping here again on our next trip up the Maine coast!
