Gorgeous property and very helpful hosts! Lent us an extension cord and hose since this was our first time out. Even brought us eggs from their chickens! Great time!

Very nice, private land with a beautiful pond and amazing view of the sunset. It's a secluded site and the owners were very accommodating. I would definitely return if I'm in the area again. I would say that maybe if you have a land yacht this might not be the spot for you. Smaller travel trailers will do best in this area.

We loved tent camping at this ranch! It was exactly what we were looking for, quiet and peaceful. Perfect little stop on our trip! Would recommend to others and hope we can stop again sometime.

We had an excellent stay on TJ and Ryan's beautiful spread of land in the Indiana hills. We were there for the total solar eclipse. The campsite down in the woods was really nice, and the hosts and their family were very nice. A good time was had by all. While we live out west and were there to see the eclipse, we would gladly make it a regular haunt if we lived in the region.

I went camping with a group of friends for the eclipse and we couldn’t have picked a better spot! Besides the beautiful, farm like view we got for it…the family running the camp were so kind. They drove us around until we found a spot we wanted to pitch a tent and then proceeded to mow down that spot for us. We were missing a piece for our propane grill we had so we asked them if they had the piece and they let us borrow it so we could cook. They even offered us eggs for breakfast! Amazing family, amazing campsite, 10/10 would come camp here again!!!

Cons: Nothing I can think of, truly. And I'm trying, as constructive critique benefits all.
Pros: Potable water, toilet (though we had our own), I think there is an electric hookup had we needed to charge our portable battery. Varied sites aka shaded or meadow, hilltop or near ponds/stream. Easy car access (though if wet you need 4-wheel). We were there for the eclipse in early April so nothing had bloomed, but I expect berries and fruit trees in the summer. I believe the hosts intend to offer ice and firewood soon (but don't hold me to it...) But topping it all, of our collective 12th HipCamp, easily the warmest, nicest host family (fresh eggs our first morning!
Genuine, available without being intrusive. Our interactions only added to the experience at Timbercrest Ranch.

We loved camping on TJ’s land for our Eclipse viewing weekend. Her entire family went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience. Easy access, great views. Options for water, electricity, and even fresh farm eggs! These are lovely people, and their and property is tranquil and spacious. Book this one before it sells out for the summer and fall.

The Timbercrest Ranch
TJ and her family were wonderful hosts. My brother and I stayed a couple of nights tent camping. It was the perfect spot to experience the total solar eclipse. The property is scenic and the terrain is varied with open rolling hills, ponds, and forest. I would definitely come back and would love to learn more from TJ about homesteading.

Beautiful farmland among the rolling hills. Hosts were super nice and responsive. They even brought a half dozen farm fresh eggs, which didn’t last long, omelettes for breakfast. We chose to camp up on the hill in the pasture as we had come for the eclipse. We really liked the view of the surrounding hills from there.

The land was so beautiful and spacious! We were camping for the eclipse and weren't really near other campers. The hosts were SO friendly and helpful, and brought us fresh eggs and firewood and showed us around the land. Overall incredible experience!

The host family was very welcoming. They have a beautiful farm. Our camp site was spacious. There was a lot of birds singing. We also heard wild turkeys gobbling. Their kids were very friendly and helpful. They brought us fresh eggs in the morning and came around to collect our garbage in the evening.

The site is nice and open. I think I stayed on the undeveloped side of things, as there were no firepits or anything but field and cows. It was a good spot, pretty quiet aside from the occasional train. If you just wanted to go sit in a field and hang out, this would be a good place for it. Very remote so there isn't a ton of things to do if you are going to stay at camp.
The host's family were very polite and friendly. My only issue with the spot was just the shear amount of ticks.
