Peak animal sanctuary is a non-profit vegan sanctuary that is home to 44 farm animals that have been rescued from neglect situations and/or factory farms. We are located on 65 beautiful acres in Owen County Indiana. We will be in full totality of the 2024 solar eclipse on 4/8/24. We do require that anyone who chooses to camp on our property has to adhere to our "vegan only" policy while onsite and not bring or consume any animal/fish or dairy products while on the property. For the safety of our animals and guests, visitors are not permitted to enter any of the animal enclosure areas without a staff member. We do offer a short tour and introduction for a small donation. We also have 2 Airbnb rooms that are listed on our website. Serene Get Away!

What a fantastic, once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of something so magical with Maria and the Animal Sanctuary (Solar Eclipse). If you are looking for AMAZING hosts and a quiet place to recharge, this is your new sanctuary! Driving distance to and from various parks, hikes, and town were rather close. You will absolutely adore your hosts Maria and Rayann!

Incredible property with the nicest hosts. The views are fantastic, the songbirds are wonderful and the farm itself is full of beautiful animals, big and small. The house has a flush toilet and a kitchen that you can use for food prep or cleanup! We will certainly be back here the next time we are in southern Indiana.

Peak Animal Sanctuary

This place is such a gem! Just the most beautiful, peaceful spot to camp. The hosts were so sweet and welcoming, and the animals are lovely. My favorite may have been Lily the turkey. There is a ton of space so you can be nearby the house and a main fire pit or off in the field (and there’s portable fire pits plus wood available for a small donation, no reason to stop and buy any on the way). They have a little gift shop that has vegan s’mores supplies as well which was great. I really hope to come back here someday❤️
