Welcome to Wheat & Beans, a charming farmhouse property constructed in 1900. Situated close to town yet nestled in a tranquil setting, this property offers a serene getaway for your vacation. As you explore the surroundings, you'll be captivated by the breathtaking views of Moscow Mountain to the East and stunning sunsets to the West. The property is enveloped by picturesque farmland, featuring lush fields of Wheat, Canola and Garbanzo Beans, creating a scenic backdrop that truly embodies the essence of rural living. We offer two RV spaces. To ensure your comfort and convenience during your stay, we provide essential amenities such as water, 30 amp at Grain Bin WEST, 50 amp service at Grain Bin RV, water and a dump station located at each parking area. Whether you're seeking a serene retreat or an opportunity to experience rural farm life, our RV parking offers a delightful blend of comfort, natural beauty, and a touch of farmyard enchantment. Our property is a work in progress as we tame the plot of land and update 1900 farmhouse. We are learning as we get to know the rhythm of the Palouse and the surrounding farmland. The RV plot is tucked under the trees next to the grain bins. Watch the sunrise over Moscow Mountain and take in the sunsets over the western rolling hills. It's wide open out here, with plenty of room to breathe. There is another site (Grain Bin West) on the west side of the trees and grain bins. This area site will have much more availability this year. 50 amp service at the site. Bring an adaptor if you need 30amp or 110v service. 4” threaded dump station at the site Water at site We are living in the house. There are a couple of barn cats that may come out if they get curious or want to hunt. We have a small Yorkie that mostly stays inside and a few chickens in various out-buildings. We also have a larger dog that will be in his pen or leashed during your stay. The RV spot is on a slight slope and may need leveling. I have lumber available if you need it. 7.7 miles to WSU 77 miles to Spokane 36 miles to Lewiston 13 miles to Kamiak Butte

Scenic RV Site Overlooking the Palouse Just three miles north of Moscow, Idaho, this peaceful RV site offers stunning views of rolling wheat fields and breathtaking sunsets. Located on the west side of our property, this spot provides extra privacy, nestled beyond the trees and grain bins. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with easy access to town, this is the perfect place. This RV-only site features 30-amp electric service, water and a 4" septic hookup. The spacious picnic area includes a fire pit, ideal for evening gatherings—just note that seasonal fire restrictions are typically in place during mid-to-late summer. Perched on the open hills, you may experience gusty winds when the weather changes — a true taste of the Palouse. For outdoor enthusiasts, Kamiak Butte and Moscow Mountain offer excellent hiking just a short drive away. The site is also great for relaxing in solitude, with minimal noise except for the occasional passing car on a nearby road (100-200 feet away). Pets are welcome, but owners should keep them safe and under control. Barn cats and chickens are free-roaming. Just let the host know if your dog will be off-leash and the chickens can be secluded. Important Notes: RV-friendly Bring your own shade—the afternoon sun can be strong in late summer Quiet and peaceful, yet close to town We are living in the house. This is a great spot if you are visiting Moscow. It is real close to town which makes for an easy commute. However, it is also far enough out of town to make you feel like you are on a farm or truly camping. The hosts are very friendly and quick with communication. The site was very clean and level. I definitely will be back and would recommend this to others!

Beautiful location. Easy to maneuver into spot, with privacy and stunning views of farmland. Five minutes from downtown Moscow and 20 minutes to the WSU campus. Had full hook up with fire pit, chairs, and firewood. Nick was a lovely host – friendly, warm, even offered us fresh eggs from his barn! Already booked a second stay for spring.

The campsite was clean with full hook up (water and sewer). Camp chairs, fire wood, and a garbage receptacle was provided. Wish the weather was better to enjoy the space more. Second site with full hook ups is also available. Directions to the site were very accurate and the host offered us the other site to get out of the weather, but we couldn't pass up the view from the silo site. Thanks for letting us enjoy your property, and we hope to return in the spring.

Loved our stay at Grain West. Nick is an amazing host who has a beautiful property, just as pictured, with amazing sunsets. Don’t forget your s’more fixings as they have a lovely campfire pit! Clean, private & beautiful ! We were there for a football game so didn’t get to spend as much time on-site so I can’t wait to go back when we can really enjoy the views and the peace!

Beautiful views! And it cooled off during the nights, even on hot days. A little windy sometimes, but absolutely stunning and it felt like we had fields and fields of farmland to ourselves. The host was excellent and very accommodating! Would stay again in a second!

Great spot on the Palouse! Nicholas has a great place with easy hook ups, a nice, graded, flat spot to park. Planter boxes and a swing to sit in make it a great place to enjoy the scenic views. Nicholas had great communication and was very hospitable.

Booked this spot while moving our daughter back to Pullman (WSU) Nick was a fabulous host and very accommodating. We parked in the wrong spot…epic fail on my part 😢 and yet he was so flexible and understanding. His property is so beautiful…. very clean, well kept and equipped for what we needed. Distance to Moscow was a 5-10min drive at best and 20-25 min to Pullman. Side note, if you take the farm roads to Pullman it’s the most beautiful drive. We will be back for sure!

Such a beautiful location! We stayed here for family weekend for WSU and it was perfect. The hosts were great with communication and we had everything we needed. Maps gave us different ways to travel from WSU to the location and we found the one we liked best was going through Moscow, it was the least time on gravel roads, although the gravel road drives were beautiful too.

Directions were spot on access is very navigable very serine setting shaded if needed,services all as advertised, as there is only 1 rv space it is very quiet exactly what we were searching for as we were there to see our son at a college homecoming football game and we didn't want to stay near the Kaos of the mass tailgate setting

Great Spot - easy access. A quiet spot a few rolling hills back from the Hwy. Older farmstead that is being brought back to life. The hosts are superb! We will be back regularly while our kids are attending the University.

Super cute little farm, family and animals. Mister Finn was adorable, Perry the little yorkie is adorable and very friendly, and all the chickens. My child became the chicken whisperer and now we need to buy a farm. If you’re lucky you’ll see someone fly their plane overhead. It was pretty cool to see and beautiful with the blue open skies and green pastures in the background. Nic and Tink were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely going to stay here again! Our dogs loved all the surroundings and pets/loves.

We had a great time on Nick’s beautiful property! They even had pumpkins around the perimeter of the camping spot for decoration. He met us when we pulled up and directed which way would be the easiest to park, as well as provided an assortment of electric adapters. I swore we had a 50 to 30 amp but found multiple 30 amp to 110 adapters instead ~ this was an amazing touch! The dogs and I took a walk down the road around sunset and it was a great escape not too far outside the city at all. Chickens and barn cats (such friendly barn cats too!!) came to say hi but were a little wary once they saw our dogs. Overall a great experience!!

This RV HipCamp site is located in peaceful farmland 3 miles outside Moscow, ID- a delightful college town. The place is quiet, fully equipped with water, electricity and sewer hookup. Everything worked well, and the hosts were very gracious and welcoming. If you want glorious privacy and peace look no further. I would highly recommend Nick and Tink.

5 stars all the way through. Terrific east going host and the spot is lovely with rolling hills. Chickens, kittens and the smell of chaffed wheat in the air. Hook up was smooth site is well maintained and easy to get to. I recommend going counter clockwise around the barn to park a travel trailer like mine. Thanks for the memorable stop, Nick!
