ABOUT NORTH HAVEN Featuring 5+ acres in a peaceful wooded setting, with 5 Luxury Log Cabins (1BD and 2BD), 21 RV Sites, 2 Conestoga Glamping Wagons w/ private bathroom access, 1 Glamping Tipi, Tent Campsites, Large Bathhouse Facility and Laundry Room (open 24/7), "The Outpost" Camp Store and Office and a nature walking trail. Picnic tables, fire rings, propane BBQ grills at the cabins and glamping sites. This 1BD log cabin is located in Bonners Ferry, Idaho at the North Haven campground, which features 21 RV sites, 5 cabins and The Outpost camp store. North Haven is located in the Northland Woods subdivision, which is mostly undeveloped and you truly feel like you are in the woods! The log cabin has a rustic charm with comfortable amenities and is the perfect home away from home. We look forward to welcoming you to our charming town of Bonners Ferry! The Area: North Haven is a campground featuring Cabins, Wagons and RV sites and is located just a few minutes north of the town of Bonners Ferry, close to the intersection of HWY 95 and HWY 2. (We are right next door to the Log Inn.) The campground is surrounded by trees and there is a 3/4 mile nature walking trail that goes around both North Haven and the Log Inn. The campground has 21 RV spaces, 5 cabins, The Outpost store/office and Guest bathhouse. (Conestoga glamping wagons coming Summer of 2023) We are located just a couple miles from the Kootenai River and kayaks and paddle boards can be rented at Far North in town. Other outdoor activities include ATV riding, fishing, hunting, horseback riding and hiking. There are some great water fall trails in the area which include Myrtle Falls, Snow Creek Falls and Kootenai Falls. We landed across this place last minute due to schedule changes and we ended up loving it. Although the sites aren’t anything special (we had a pull through with water and electric, which offered more space than those with full hook-ups), we loved site 18. We opened up so we didn’t see anyone but had full access to the recreation area that no one seemed to use. We played Corn Hole, listened to music, played ball with our dog, all in this open area. The bathrooms, showers and laundry room are worth visiting this place, just to clean up. You will be shocked at what you experience. Enjoy!

This site was great and easy to access. Nice, quiet campground. I have to point out how impressed we were with the washrooms. Really big shower rooms/stalls, super clean and private. Easy access off the highway and quiet. The wagons and cabins looked really nice but didn’t see the inside. Would definitely return!

Glamping Wagon #1 (Stargazer)

We had an amazing time staying in the wagons! We booked both wagons and an RV site with our family. These are even better than the pictures show and have everything you need, bedding, microwave, coffee pot and coffee, AC/heat, lights and plug ins. The private bathrooms were clean and just like walking into your bathroom at home. The little store was fun for the breakfast bar and any snacks we wanted. We used the wagon to project an outdoor movie on for a fun nighttime activity. The owners were friendly and answered any questions we had. Can't wait to book again!

This place is AMAZING! We took our 3 kids and dogs with us to go morel hunting and couldn't have found a better place to stay! My in laws had an RV spot and we had 2 cabins. They were clean and super comfortable! They also had everything you needed to cook! Loved the fire pit next to the cabin for roasting marshmallows.

We stayed here when North Haven was just established in November 2022. We had traveled a long way, arrived after dark, and were very tired. We drove right up to our cabin, and it was all ready for us. Warm and welcoming! We stayed for 2 weeks and loved it! The owners were very responsive to any requests we had, though we didn't have many because the accommodations were terrific. It's a beautiful, natural setting. It was cold and snowy while we were there, but the cabin was very warm and comfortable. I highly recommend it!

Very nice campground and very nice bathroom facilities. We got there late and called the office to let them know and they sent directions and codes for the facilities. Only downside was getting there late and having trouble finding the correct spot since we could not see/find the specific site number - maybe put a light to show where the site number is so easily readable. Other than that I would highly recommend this campground.

It was absolutely beautiful! The cabin was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The management went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, we had some requests for wheelchair accessibly, the management purchased equipment needed to make our stay easier. Check in was streamlined and on line, the “Bath house” facility modern and extremely clean, and the forested surroundings and log cabins created a pleasant environment. Stayed for one night in a one bedroom traditional cabin. Cabins feel brand new, spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could possibly need. Even though it was close to freezing outside the cabins are toasty warm with underfloor radiant heating. Much better than staying in a hotel/motel, definitely would stay here again.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom cabin for 5 days and it was fantastic! The in floor radiant heat was absolutely incredible! It was 15 degrees outside and 70 inside! I have never stayed in a nicer cabin. All appliances were awesome including a gas range to cook on! I highly recommend this place and wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else in Bonners Ferry! Munro the new owner was great and very helpful! A real hands on guy! I’ll be back for sure!

We've been staying in Cabin 2 since the beginning of December and expect to be here for at least another month or two until we can move back into an RV on our land and resume building. It has been a wonderful break from winter in an RV that is not well suited for cold weather. The cabin is comfortable, warm, and spacious, and the facilities are extra nice, including guest laundry at a very reasonable price, far lower (and closer!) than going to a laundromat. The management is helpful and friendly and seem more like neighbors than landlords. Overall, staying here is much like living in a friendly neighborhood! Highly recommended to any who need short or long term accommodation!

We stayed in a one bedroom cabin on a visit to Bonners Ferry. I was surprised by how nice the cabin was. It seemed pretty new, had a nice furnishings, a full kitchen with dishes, utensils pots and pans etc. There’s a separate bedroom with king bed and a really nice bathroom. The area is surrounded by trees and you feel like you’re in a forest. It was so beautiful! We loved the walking path that is more like a little nature walk that goes around the property and the neighboring motel. Would highly recommend!

Many places around the country have forgotten what it means to provide such a service. It’s clear that the owner of North Haven Campground understands this. The kindness, response to requests, family-friendly atmosphere, cleanliness of the cabin, bathhouse, and laundry facility, and the peace & quiet that we experienced during our stay, has us wishing we could have stayed in this cabin year-round. We felt like it was home. A HUGE thanks to the owner Munro, his family, and Heidi, for making our stay an amazing one. We felt like we were among friends. :-)

North Haven Campground is the place to stay!!! Over the last the last year my family & I have stayed in these beautiful cabins three times. We’ve enjoyed our recent visit the most. The new owner, Munro was very accommodating regarding our reservations with the previous owners. Monro has also made the amenities that the cabins offers even better than the previous owners. Looking forward to seeing the growth that Monro has planned for the future of the campground.
