Pitch your tent on the banks of the beautiful Bear River. Only 17 miles from Bear Lake.  Enjoy fishing, swimming, tubing, paddle-boarding or kayaking on the river. This area has an abundance of wildlife including deer, elk, moose, geese, ducks, badgers, beaver and river otters. In addition you may want to explore the many types of recreation and water sports opportunities at Bear Lake and surrounding areas. Bear Lake is less than a half hour drive from the campsite. Our campsite has easy vehicle access off of US Highway 30. The campsite is located in a cattle pasture on the north side of the Bear River. Both U.S. Highway 30 and Union Pacific railroad run through our valley as well, so keep in mind you will be able to see and hear road traffic and the occasional train. The campsite includes access to a classic outhouse for your convenience. Visit nearby sites including Oregon Trail historic sites or the National Oregon Trail Center in Montpelier, Idaho. Also We hope you enjoy your stay!

Come stay in this cozy mini A-frame cabin overlooking a spring-fed pond. The cabin is situated In a small canyon in the hills of southeast Idaho. This is a dry cabin that accommodates two people and tents could be pitched outside to accommodate more guests. From the cabin it is approximately a one-mile hike to one of the most difficult stretches of the historic Oregon Trail. With only a short drive, you can explore nearby Bridger-Teton and Caribou-Targhee National Forests, enjoy the beach at Bear Lake, or head underground to Minnetonka Cave.
