Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
A Hidden Gem- get ready to disconnect at our securely gated, spacious family farm property surrounded by towering mountains. You'll stay active: theres a lot of walking around! Ditch light polluted Honolulu and explore the north shore during the day and hear crashing waves and see hundreds of stars at night at our sites. Retreaters will have access to very basic amenities- clean cold hose showers and flush toilets. Interact with locals and other retreaters while truly surrounding yourself in a tropical jungle atmosphere. We are a completely 0 waste site- if you pack it in, pack it out :) There will not usually be someone physically present to check you in so we have made Google Doc instructions for arrival and finding the bathrooms. Recommended to bring: Water flashlight mosquito repellent shoes camera! Your stay includes: a 7 minute nature walk to community bathrooms and cold hose showers, a safe peaceful space in the community with nearby fruiting trees and bushes, and access to a semi private sandy beach, (perfect for sunset), a 15 minute stroll away. There are martial arts classes occurring on the property Mon-Fri until about 9-930 pm, so if you see some lights and people as you enter do not worry. There are sometimes events on the weekends on property so I will notify if that is the case. As there will likely not be someone physically there, we have made detailed self check in instructions on a Google Doc ! Please read our instructions carefully and please reach out to the host if you have any questions.

Star Camp
Star Camp
We stayed at Star Camp which was a very large lawn space with a beautiful view. The instructions were very clear to both the camp site as well as the bathrooms and shower facilities. There is also a washing sink and hose relatively close to the site which was helpful. The mosquitos are abundant so would plan for that and the lawn is very hot in direct sun so would recommend you set up a shade tent if you plan to hang out at all during the daytime. This site is sandwiched between a property on the left and another campsite to the right, and Mountain View campsite behind. So be prepared to have neighbors around your site if you stay here. We did end up leaving a bit early because we had a few run ins with off leash dogs from other campsites, but we don’t blame the host for that as we believe the rules stated leashed dogs. The rules also stated no open fires, but the Mountain View group had a very large camp fire so unsure if it was allowed at that particular site since it’s away from the brush. We think the site in general is particularly great if you plan to cruise around north shore or the island during day and set up for night and end up with good neighbor campers who keep their dogs leashed to prevent issues with other dogs.

Mountain View
Mountain View
Really pretty area and lots of open space. Directions were clear and everything was easy to find. Way more convenient to book than a city and county or state campsite. Only surprise was that there are multiple buildings/structures/vehicles adjacent to the campsites that aren’t really pictured in the photos. Was reminiscent of camping in the backyard as a kid. If you are looking for a more secluded/forest experience I’d book the hideaway, it looked awesome and had a table!

The Hideaway
Truly a Family-Friendly Hideaway
We recently did an overnight van camp along with our dogs. The site was tucked away with a beautiful mauka view, but bathrooms and shower were still easily accessible. As noted in another review, the ranch did have some gunfire during the afternoon, but they were quiet after 4:00. Ended up being a very relaxing night, which you cannot always say about camping on Oahu! 🤙

The Great Lawn
I enjoyed the quietness of the Great Lawn. The bathrooms were clean and well marked on how to get to them. Will be back next time I am on Oahu.

The Great Lawn
Great views, safe, a lot of space!
Staying at Mason's camp site for two nights was a great experience. We were in need of a safe place to stay overnight and this campsite perfectly fit the bill. Despite having to contend with some mosquitoes, the overall experience was excellent. The campsite was easy to find, offered wonderful views, and provided a good amount of privacy. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful camping experience. Thanks Mason!
