This is a breathtaking space that our family has poured many decades and multiple generations into. We are surrounded by jungle, with a freshwater stream running through the entire property and unobstructed mountain views. You are welcome to explore the grounds and enjoy the land. Chickens roam freely, with the occasional pig sightings in the evening. We do have a fair bit of bugs and geckos. If you’re especially sensitive to mosquitos, this might not be the place for you! Waimanalo is a small agricultural town filled with nurseries, horse stables, and a high concentration of Hawaiian homes. It remains mostly undeveloped and authentic, and we aim to keep it that way. While nestled against the mountains, we're just a five minute drive from the beach. We are fifteen minutes from Kailua town, where you'll find several grocery stores, shops, and restaurants. There are so many great beach and land activities nearby, and I'm happy to lead you in the direction of whatever you might be interested in! We are very protective of this land and town, but would love to share the space with respectful travelers looking for an authentic experience. While we are very hospitable, we are not in the business of hospitality. This is a working farm. I am happy to accommodate travelers, but I am not here at your beck and call. If that is the experience you are seeking, I think you would be happier elsewhere. We appreciate all of your bookings, and profits go directly back into farm infrastructure and new fruit trees. Thank you for looking!

Orchard Wall Tent
The nature was beautiful. Loved it. Just power was gone at middle of night and didn’t come back at all till we leave. It got super hot, couldn’t get light in the tent and couldn’t charge anything of course. I hope they make sure that there is power in the tent all the time, or at least the power station is able to charge by itself for the next guest. Otherwise more than $200 which I paired for this stay is too expensive. The remote of the front porch didn’t work as well.

Car Camping Site 2
Host was well organized and replied fast. Nice clean bathroom and space to eat under the barn. Would be nice to have a little fridge and simple kitchen utensils for use to add value for the price per night.

Banana Patch Bell Tent
Beautiful, quiet glamping spot
My son and I had a great experience camping in Lex's farm. It was quiet and beautiful, with a nearby stream and plenty of chickens running around. The tent was clean and the bed was comfortable. There were a few simple cooking implements - pan, camp stove, cutting board, knives and utensils. We didn't do extensive cooking but if you did want to, bring your own oil as well as ice for the cooler. Also bring a lighter if you want to use the mosquito -repellent lamp. The shared bathroom was decent. We were able to take hot showers. The location was also great - just 12-15 minutes from many points of interest in Kailua town.

Banana Patch Bell Tent
Really chilled and beautiful place
I loved staying here! So chilled out. Only you and the chickens! Warnings of an early wake up call by cockrells, after a while you don’t notice it. I arrived at night, so getting the view of the mountains when you wake up is amazing! The shower room was clean and shower lovely. It’s also so close to one of the most beautiful beaches in Hawaii!

Good amenities. Nice surroundings. Lots of roosters. Great star gazing. Not too bad.
