Bob and Nancy were so friendly and helpful! They have a beautiful property with fruit trees, lush grass, and cute cats roaming around. Plenty of space to pitch a tent and great bathroom facilities we had access to! One of the neighboring properties was a little noisy (music, dogs, etc..) but it wouldn’t stop me from staying again.

It was the most beautiful, amazing property and they made us feel right at home immediately! They have many acres and places for you to park your vehicles or pop up your tents or both, they have a bathroom, a shower and a bath bathtub which is awesome! We just shower always at the beach because that’s the only thing we do is go out into the ocean on the side! I would highly recommend staying here. It’s beautiful and the most unexplainable way. I grew up homicide. I live HILO side for five years now, but this was undiscovered Land for us, and it was a true treasure to find!

Gorgeous night sky and even more spectacular view in the morning. Robert was very hospitable, responsive and kind. Bathroom with a hot shower was also so welcoming after a night of manta rays. We would absolutely return!

Bob was a great host. Shower was nice and he even left the brota in the bathroom so we could get some drinking water. Went to green sand beach next day. Was an awesome adventure not for the faint hearted. There’s a sausage stand and pick your own flowers garden by Hwy 11. All around good stop.

Had a great stay at Robert’s place. The camping spot was level and easy to access. The shower and toilet were also convenient and clean. Robert also gave us some great tips about how to view the volcanic eruption that was about to occur. Great host, great stay.

We had a great camping experience at Bob’s! The location is wonderful and near a lot of Big Island’s main attractions. The sunrise view there is beautiful. He is a very kind host, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks for having us!

Robert and Nancy were great hosts . I had lots of space , and access to a hot shower and flushing toilet . They were both friendly and very helpful with recommendations for local restaurants and sights .
This location is very quiet but within a short drive to nearby Naalehu which although tiny contains multitudes. Handy for volcano national park too .

Robert was so welcoming and helpful. We arrived late and he gave us a tour of the property, in the morning he gave us fresh fruit from his trees and provided great tips on places to check out in the area. We would love to stay again!

Really accommodating as we booked a last minute stay. Super friendly and inviting. Tons of space with many level places to choose from. All nice green grass, fruit trees, top-notch view, and a nice bathroom with shower. A really wonderful place to stay.

Robert was a sweet host, and we enjoyed our night camping here. We pitched our tent in the grassy field with our car on one side (was great to protect from headlights of airbnbers who showed up later and the adjacent rental house) and cinnamon trees uphill. The stars were great. To use the bathroom or shower, there is a steep but very short climb up the hill and a porch with a few spots to watch your step. Robert and Nancy were super kind in the morning and even made us espresso! The tangelos “original juice boxes” were delicious too. Thanks also for the tips on local places to check out.

Bob and Nancy are warm and hospitable, sharing aspirations for their land. Very generous large grassy area well protected from winds that were gusting 50mph at the time. Warm water showers and inside bathroom.
We were the only guests and though the place is close to hwy 12 it felt secluded. Right near a section of land that has been incorporated into Volcano nat. Park. Has lovely trails and not crowded as the main part of the park.
