Get away from it all at this unique glamping experience in Suches, Georgia! Perfect for a couples getaway, family vacation, or small group offering TWO large bell tents! Main tent with a queen bed and a 2nd tent at the site that has 3 cots. Updated PRIVATE bathhouse on site! At mealtimes, head into the roofed kitchen area and enjoy the stove and grill (gas). At sunset, throw some logs into the fire pit and relax in the Adirondack chairs while watching the stars until you retreat to the tents for the night.Get away from it all at our unique glamping experience in Suches, Georgia! Perfect for a couples getaway, family vacation, or small group. This site offers (2) large bell tents. The first site is equipped with a queen bed and the 2nd tent at the site has three cots. There is an optional rental of more cots from our Trading Post. Both tents are equipped with electrical, USB ports, small fans, and buddy heaters. Head into the roofed kitchen area and enjoy the stove or gas grill. At sunset, throw some logs into the fire pit and relax in the Adirondack chairs while watching the stars until you retreat to the tents for the night. Convenient parking right on site! There is enough parking to comfortably fit two vehicles or multiple motorcycles. There is a recently renovated PRIVATE bath house on site! Shower with hot/cold water, farm sink, and a compostable toilet. Shower toiletries are provided, please bring your own towels, wash cloths, etc. We provide a Keurig machine with select K cups, mini fridge, pots, pans, cookware, mixing bowls, grill tools, smore sticks, plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses, coffee mugs and cutlery for 6 guests. ***Please bring everything you will need to make the bed and cots warm and comfortable: pillows, mattress pads, sheets or sleeping bags as well as food and potable water. Towels are needed for the bath house. Hand towels needed for kitchen area and bathroom.*** If you forget anything our friends at Cooper’s Creek Store are just one mile west of our property on Morganton Highway and has food, fishing licenses, tackle, bait and local gifts. Don’t be shy to hang around, have a cup of coffee, and chat up the locals.

The Glamp Shack

We loved this location. It was far enough away from the town yet still close enough for all the activities and excursions. This spot had all the amenities and nothing was needed. We especially loved the kitchen/ socializing areas with the tables and chairs and equipment for meals. Our dogs loved it!

It rained nearly all weekend, but that was OK bc the tent was totally covered with a tin roof and I slept so well!! The deck was covered, allowing us to play games at the picnic table, eat, fellowship, run around and stretch our legs. We had breaks in the rain and went for short hikes down at Cooper Creek splashed in the water and skipped stones. Next time we’ll bring our fishing poles! There’s free Wi-Fi. I didn’t realize it until we were nearly gone and that was helpful in order to make calls with Wi-Fi. There was a dehumidifier in the tent, which kept the air quality excellent as I have asthma and I was somewhat fearful of moisture and humidity inside a tent but had zero issues with the dehumidifier running & the fan circulating. Overall, it was a fun trip and I highly recommend it. The tent was very clean and tidy. It was easy to keep clean & sweep w/ outdoor carpet inside. The only downside was the toilet, but that’s no fault of the glamp shack. It’s a waterless toilet and so that was quite surprising and somewhat inconvenient with two small children, whose backside didn’t quite reach the area of the toilet necessary, but thankfully there were plenty of wipes to clean up after ourselves. Was very grateful for the showers, small refrigerator, kitchen sink, bathroom sink amenities. Highly recommend for a quick, hassle-free getaway.

The Glamp Shack

My family and I went on a last minute trip and Jeff responded very quickly and kindly. The site was secluded enough that we felt we had privacy but close enough to the neighborhood site(s) that it didn’t feel dangerous or lonely. This site’s set up contains two tents that are not extremely close to one another, which we really appreciated because we did not have to worry about disturbing one another, as different members of the family had varying sleeping times. Bathrooms/ showers were very clean and although it was a small walk down the driveway area, the cleanliness made it worth the extra steps. Overall, we had a nice quiet weekend away in the north Georgia mountain/ forest area, and would return again in the future!
