We own a small farm on 64 total acres with around 59 wooded. We have 4 primitive camping sites with lots of woods, wildlife, and two small creeks. We are even located on a short dirt road to give you that country feel. All of our sites are spread out from one another and you will feel secluded in the woods with nature. On our farm are free range chickens, peacocks, goats and a donkey in a pasture, turkeys (wild and domesticated), honeybees (in the field), and a few outdoor cats. We enjoy our animals and nature. We want to share this experience with others so we have decided to rent a few camping spots that we have shared over the years with our children. Enjoy the peaceful nights and the sounds of nature and star lit skies. In the daytime check out our farm animals, walk the trails, or explore the woods. Guest are welcome to pet and feet the animals if they choose. We are conveniently located less than two miles from a Dollar General, three miles from several restaurants right of I75, 8 miles to nearest Walmart, under 20 minutes to High Falls State Park, under 25 minutes to Dauset Trails Nature Center, and under 30 minutes to Indian Springs State Park. All of this located close to our property while being only 3 miles from the I75 on ramp at exit 205.

Site 2 is located in the deepest point in our woods out of all our sites. It is a short hike across a stream and up a hill to a nice clearing on top. There are no hookups but there is a stone circle fire pit with a removable screen to cook on, a permanent table, three wooden chairs, a place for a hammock to hang, and a nice wooden solar lit outhouse. This location can house a large tent (up to 20 feet) easily.

Site 1 is located close to a small stream and nestled bordering the fence of a goat pasture. You may get some visitors (our goats and donkey) coming to check you out if you stay at this site, but they will go back to their barn most nights. This site is mostly covered from direct sunlight except in the later evening hours. This site has a fire pit, small seating area, and a portable toilet that is loaned out. Vehicles cannot access this site but if you need transportation there a side by side can get your equipment there and back upon request.

Site 3 - closest to small stream

Site 3 is located right next to a small moving stream and is the most primitive site we have as far as accommodations. It is shaded by large trees and has a few open areas for a few tents or vehicle. We can also drive you all the way to your camp site with a side by side or you can drive a car or smaller truck there on a wooded trail road.

Site 4 is the only drive up site that we have that can fit a van or smaller RV easily. It is located a short distance into the woods and offers primitive camping with a fire pit, some fixed seating, a permanent table, and a portable loaned toilet. The site is covered from the sun most of the day but does have a few hours of direct sun. You can bring a larger RV but it may have to be left in the field about 100 feet from the campsite. Smaller pop ups and vans can go right to the site but space is tight.

We had such a great weekend staying at site 2! The owners were so sweet, helpful, and accommodating to any question we had. The site was clean and had some extra things provided that we could use during our stay. The owners even brought me a birthday gift to make our trip even more special! I would highly recommend this place for a camping trip!

I had a wonderful stay on JoLane and Sam's place. JoLane offered prompt replies and all information needed for arrival. Sam (a veteran) met me and guided me to Site 4. We had a nice chat about local going-ons... all the more making me feel at home. The site was just right for my Colorado and 16ft camper. That being said, this site would be perfect for single or multiple tent camping! I enjoyed the peaceful feeling of being in remote, deep woods... without really being far away from conveniences or access to major roads. Do yourself a favor a spend a night or two here!

Site 1 - near goat pasture

Staying at the farm has been one of the best camping trips I’ve ever taken! Mrs Jo and Mr Sam were the absolute best hosts anyone could ask for! Had help unloading and bringing my gear to the site. They were also so nice to let me borrow a small heater for when it was going to get down to freezing. The weather was beautiful and the walks through the property were great. My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed being around the goats and the mule since we stayed at the goat site. Enjoyed waking up to the roosters and peacocks. Plenty of good deadfall for firewood and the sites are set up very well. I also brought home some soap and honey that were made at the farm. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend of relaxation and time in the woods. So many great things, but too many to list! You will definitely have to go experience it for yourself! I will definitely be returning!

We had such a great time. My wife and kids had to set up camp before I got there, and Mr. Sam helped them carry our stuff to the campsite and even loaned use a few items to make things easier. The site was private and secluded, perfect for our weekend getaway!

Loved Sherwood forest quiet to yourself camping woods and trails and Creek area was nice kids loved the goats all in all great camping experience will definitely be back in cooler weather no ticks and don't think I was bitten one time by mosquitoes or anything else so yea great place to camp .

very welcoming and accommodating hosts. It was a peaceful stay. Their goats are very cute. The peacocks are beautiful. At the time of our visit there was plenty of firewood and if you are a mushroom hunter, plenty of what I believe to be chanterelles.

I unfortunately had to cancel due to travel circumstances and JoLane was so accommodating. My cancellation request didn’t process and she fought to get me a refund, on her own time. I am so appreciative of the time it took to ensure I got the refund and the kindness shown to me. I can’t wait to visit this little slice of paradise
