The campsite is private and quiet without a whisper of traffic noise. It's absolutely worth the drive down the gravel and dirt road and 5 minute walk down the hillside from the parking area if you are looking for peace and quiet. You can hear the creek from the site, too, which is a bit further down the trail. You are in the woods, completely covered by tree canopy. There is one tent pad large enough for a 6 person tent or two 2-3 person backpacking tents. The terrain is sloped and finding another location suitable for a small backpacking tent was challenging but not impossible. Our host, Amanda, was very responsive, friendly and accommodating. She really was a joy to speak with. If you have any questions or issues, you'll get a quick answer. Don't let the No Trspassing signs bother you. The GPS and Amanda's directions are accurate. You're in the right place.

It is, however, a great little spot in the woods you'll have all to yourself to pitch a tent, build a fire, listen to the creek and the birds and relax. It's also only a 13 minute drive to Cloudland Canyon State Park,
