IG: @goodhopeairstream Thoughtfully designed, this 1962 Airstream is designed with your comfort in mind, featuring a twin bed, comfortable full-sized sofa bed, kitchen outfitted with everything you need for a great meal, indoor seating options and full bathroom with a toilet and shower. An A/C/Heat unit keeps things comfortable. Outside, you can relax on the porch, which features a gas grill, bistro table, and Adirondack chairs to sit and watch the sunset. We'll even leave wood in the fire ring in case you want to make s'mores! The area around the Airstream is lovingly landscaped, with a lawn big enough for kids to play, carved out of the surrounding lush meadow grasses and tall trees. While here, enjoy wooded trails, go boating on the Apalachee River in our available kayaks, or bring your bike and ride miles of surrounding country paved and gravel roads. If you want to explore our local small towns, downtown Athens, Watkinsville, Monroe, and Greensboro are all within 30 minutes. Oh, and WiFi available, work away from home or simply checking email is quick and easy!

Serene Apalachee Airstream!
My husband, my two children, and I had an amazing time at the airstream! It felt decadent to have our very own hiking trails. It was remote enough to feel like we were really out in the middle of nowhere, the stars were so incredible because there was no light pollution. The airstream itself was clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed eating at the picnic table for all of our meals and toasting marshmallows. The outdoor shower was a hit with my husband and I, and because there was a little bathtub, my children were able to take a bath after a very dirty day outside. We would really love to come back in the future and visit again! Highly recommend.

Peaceful paradise!
Serene Apalachee Airstream!
Beautiful, peaceful, private site. No super close neighbors. As a female traveling alone I felt completely safe. Loved the covered front porch, sat and watched the rain while working on my computer. Listened to the birds and crickets at night. They have fans, shades, lights, so many nice little touches to make it a comfortable stay. Enjoyed hiking the property (very clearly marked and maintained trails) and seeing the river. Had a bonfire at night when there was a break in the rain (was glad I brought firewood as I didn’t see any at the site). The rv was adorable, boho/minimalistic/tastefully decorated. Little lights and coffee/creamer/coffee maker provided. Lots of thoughtful touches, bottle of water in the fridge, lighter, etc. I only stayed one night but want to come again to enjoy the hammock, outdoor shower, kayaks. This place was a steal for the price and the host was friendly and communicative and respected my space. I especially enjoyed watching armadillos scurry around at night. Thank you for a great stay!

Serene Apalachee Airstream!
The time we spent in the Airstream was truly magical. We loved the vintage look of the interior and enjoyed all of the appliances and devices to make our stay comfortable. The outside shower was one of my favorite. Hosts were great! They were helpful in being flexible as our schedule has changed a few times, we really appreciate it.

Piece of heaven
Serene Apalachee Airstream!
How perfect! We loved camping in the airstream. The practical accommodations were amazing with hot showers, cozy towels, plain instructions and entry - but some of the most enjoyable features were the thoughtfulness of the layout, landscaping, fire pit and even the bird feeder that made us feel right at home in the woods with privacy, nature trails plainly marked and beautiful views. Ascetically, I just kept saying “I love this, it’s so cute.” We played games, read books and remembered how blessed we are in the beauty of the woods . THANK YOU! To the amazing hosts and the excellent getaway

Perfect get away.
Serene Apalachee Airstream!
It was an amazing get away. I feel like everything was thought of to make it simple to stay. If you follow the hosts directions a small car can make it no problem. Beautiful location, beautiful hiking, and a perfect place to stay.

Great spot. My eight year old and stayed one night. Host thought of everything. The river and trails were beautiful , loved getting out in the canoe. Airstream was clean and well stocked. Thank you!!

Highly recommend! Just as pictured. Cozy and comfortable. Great walking trails and bird watching. Definitely a site worth revisiting.
