Leaning Pines Campground & Cabins If you are looking for peace, tranquility and nature in Southeast Georgia while not having to sacrifice the amenities of home, then you have found the right place! We are down a county maintained dirt road in Screven County, Georgia within close proximity to the Tuckahoe Wildlife Management Area and the Savannah River. As the proud NEW OWNERS, we have been working tirelessly to bring our vision for quality accommodations and a family friendly atmosphere to life. We offer 4 cabins of various sizes all with full kitchens, bathrooms and sleeping accommodations for 2-8 people, 2 rentable RVs setup and ready to use in one of our sites, 13 full hook up RV sites that are big rig friendly as well as a primitive tenting area with access to a bathhouse.

    Look no further if you are looking for a little peace and quiet. This little gem is located a little beyond the beaten path. The owners were super welcoming, friendly and even helped us out when we encountered a leveling issue on spot 4. The bathhouse and laundry facilities were clean and neat.

    Camp management is outstanding! Truly cares about each guest and customer service is best I’ve seen in decades. Been there twice, love the area, both camper and cabin were exquisite in comfort and inspiring relaxation. Stress just melts away within minutes of arriving. I’m sorry I don’t remember their names, I’m terrible with names, but the whole family is quite lovely! A million thanks for the healing rest and family time!

    Fantastic hosts, cared only about our comfort during the visit. Lovely, quiet, peaceful campground. Cute little RV, if a weekend away with no muss or fuss leaving home is needed. Book and hop in your vehicle (or horse which I was so happy to see!) and bring yourselves and fave items to keep you happy 🤷🏼‍♀️. Can’t wait to go back again!

    The camp ground is surrounded by forest. The hosts were awesome and friendly. The place was clean and welcoming. We will definitely be going back to Leaning Pines Campground.
