There are 3 treehouses present on these 5 acres of land tucked into the National Forest. A stream runs past 2 of the treehouses down to a pasture with a small assortment of animals. The property includes friendly, free roaming, outdoor cats that will likely keep you company during your stay. Do note there are dogs at the main cabin. While on your glamping trip, there are several places nearby to hiking, fishing, swimming, and if you're brave enough, even biking the ups and downs of the mountain roads. Parking, as well as a bathroom with running water and electricity, are at the main cabin, which is a short walk from the treehouse.Firefly Bend Treehouse is nestled on a hillside near a creek on the Hemlock Farm, where a small passel of animals (mostly cats and dogs) live and a couple of people reside in the main cabin. There are animals on the property. This private treehouse is a short walk into the forest from where you park at the main cabin. The rear of the property provides access to the national forest for hiking in a rarely used portion of the mountains. ✔️Heated Mattress Pad-Queen Size Bed ✔️The bed rolls out under the stars! ✔️Indoor Mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker ✔️WiFi at Main Cabin (not at treehouse) ✔️Outdoor Firepit ✔️ Hot tub ✔️Two Paddle fans ✔️Hike into National Forest from Treehouse **About Glamping** Glamping - Camping, but with glamour. Glamping isn't done by usual outdoor types who climb mountains. Treehouses are glamping experiences. Here’s what to expect: A comfy bed, k-cup coffee brewer, microwave, heated mattress pad, radiator heater, dresser, bed, chairs, and electricity. There is no service in the mountains this deep in the forest. You should avoid treehouses if you… 1. Don’t enjoy temps outside the range you would keep for your home. 2. Don’t like walking back into the woods to reach the treehouse. 3. Don’t want to walk to the main cabin to use a flushing toilet and/or take a shower. 4. If the idea that the treehouse is not completely sealed and you may occasionally see a critter trying to move in -although we do try and keep them out- upsets you. We cannot allow children, so please ensure your party of 1 or 2 is limited to those 18 and older. The treehouse has an outdoor cook space for preparing meals. In addition to the cook space, the firepit has a grate on it, allowing you to use charcoal or wood to cook over. - There is a camp toilet for quick night runs. - The full bathroom, wifi, and parking area are at the main cabin. The treehouse is back past the main cabin in the forest. - There is not running water in the treehouse. This property is a haven for a group of cats, two of which have Feline Leukemia. The cats roam the property and like to visit treehouse guests for affection. There are dogs at the main cabin. If this is unappealing to you, please reach out to us for other recommendations.
