My favorite HipCamp so far

Beautiful property, and wonderful hosts. It was well worth the detour off of I95, to stay at Deep Bend. We are still. Sorry of new to the RV life, but this has been my favorite HipCamp so far, and I would definitely recommend it. I'm pretty sure we'll stay there again at some point in the future.

Once again….a fabulous stay at deep bend landing site 6!! Camp Host Kathy was super helpful getting us right to our site. Such a great spot! Can’t wait to go back!

Great Stay!!!

This was our second time here and it was once again, excellent! Full hookups, easy to get in and out, so peaceful and just overall a wonderful stay! The camp host Kathy was super helpful showed us right to our site and also lent us tools to fix our broken mirror. We will absolutely be back!!!

I love camping here and hope to have a longer stay in the future. The campground is clean and well maintained. It was so quiet and dark...just how we like it. I know weekends are active here, but our midweek stay was perfect.

We chose a site at this location using hipcamp, but the host contacted us and told us that our choice was not available. They gave us the opportunity to choose another site, which we did. The campground is a little run down. We noticed litter around our campsite, throughout the campground, and in the water. The cover over the electric service was broken and exposed. The host was friendly and accommodating.

Absolutely beautiful environment, very peaceful and you could not ask for a better host between Ron and Miss Cathy. Sites were big where you had plenty of privacy and anybody you ran into there was real friendly.

Lots were good size, all connections were in good working order. Swim at your own risk posted, so that was the only issue. And fishing would be great if you have a boat. Ron and his wife were very courteous and friendly. Nice people.

Ron and Cathy were great, hospitable and friendly. The park is nice and secluded only the river with next to a boat ramp. Plenty of room between sites and friendly people. I would come back.

The Perfect spot!

Nice big private site with full hookups! Kathy met us at the entrance and showed us right where to go!! We stayed 3 nights! Met some great folks there that spend several months at a time! Can’t wait to book our next trip back!!

First time using HipCamp. Really enjoyed the site and the hospitality. Would have stayed a second night if we were not hurrying to get home. Campground has nice level sites. The host Ron and Cathy were both very helpful!

Cathy was a joy to meet. She was quite flexible as we arrived late due to multiple accidents on I-95. She provided a 50amp adapter for our 30amp motorhome. We were in transit arriving late and leaving early so we did not get a chance to enjoy the beautiful river and maximize the surroundings.

If you’re looking for peace & quiet then this is the place. Wonderful camp hosts that really made us feel welcome & even invited us to the Thanksgiving gathering they had which was so nice. We were on site 2 ( had to make a slight change from original reservation) but it was just perfect. & thanks to them for letting us borrow hoses to add to our 25 ft one. If we ever find ourselves close to Deep Bend again we’d definitely go back!

Hurricane Hideout

Stayed here while waiting for hurricane Milton to vacate Florida. This is our kind of campground! Wooded, large sites, good hookups. Quiet, no road noise. Kathy was a great host, very responsive and accommodating. Would certainly stay again!

They advertise water electric and sewer on all sites. Our site did not have sewer hook up. You have to drive down really bad dirt road very thankful we have a 4 wheel drive truck. You have to call when you get to a certain spot because the road isn’t big enough for 2 campers but when you leave they don’t care.

We stopped for 1 night on our way north. We are a 35’ Class A with a tow. What a great spot. It reminded me of camping when I was a kid. Not too far from 95 but far enough to make it country. The roads were easy to drive. The river was beautiful, the grounds were clean and well kept, and all we could hear at night were frogs. Ron and Kathy are great hosts.

Site 2 River Side

The property that Ron has is amazing secluded just how we like it and our site was next to a boat ramp so my girls were able to see them load and unload. Would Definitely give this place a 5 star out of 5. Not to mention Ron and Kathy were very sweet.
