My friends and I had a great time camping here in mid March! The grounds are well kept and very peaceful. It got very cold that night, but a fire and snacks was all we needed. It doesn’t guarantee a grill at your spot, but we found one and cooked dinner on it. It was a pleasure to meet John T and he was very enthusiastic about our stay and his land, nice guy! It is unfortunate that you can hear the road, but it still feels remote and it was fun to see some stars. Would definitely go again!

Very private, all to ourselves. Nice walking trails. Beautiful view. A little road noise, we knew that from last time & don't mind it for all the other nicce things. No amenities, perfect for boondockers!

The site was beautiful! We only spent one night. The downside was the road noise nearby. It may have only been our site because I think it’s the closest to the road. Otherwise it was a beautiful place and we had a great time.

The view across the tall grass field between the oaks & pine forest was stunning. We lucked out & were the only campers for our 4 days & nights (Sunday-Thursday). Complete privacy, beautiful areas to walk. There is a bit noise from the nearby road but not enough to detract. It was our 1st trip in our new RV, only 3 hours from home so that we could get to know our rig without worry. Exceeded our expectations! There are no hookups or other amenities which is what we wanted - to test reliance on our rig & selves. GREAT!!!

It seemed my group and I were the only ones on the land which was nice, only noise was from the road pretty close by - not bad. The directions weren’t as cut and dry as I thought, it’s a little hard to find which site you’re going to as there’s not a lot of visible signage so I’d definitely arrive during the day. The host didn’t answer any of my messages but there were no resulting issues. Overall had an awesome time!!

Big open meadows, clear driveable trails, and quiet secluded sites with fire rings make it a great spot, not to mention being minutes away from outdoors activities like fishing, hiking, etc. Silver Springs is 15ish minutes way.

Camping here was a great experience! The stars looks absolutely beautiful, the scenery was relaxing, no bugs but it was also very cold. It was very private and safe. There were stores nearby with everything we could need although if you need wood, make sure to buy it 40 minutes before arriving as they only had coals at the nearby dollar store. All in all, would 1000% recommend this for anyone looking to truly dry camp. John replied within minutes/1 hour and gave us all the details we needed for our trip. Great overall!

Thank you, John T, for sharing your beautiful land and stories with us! We had such a wonderful time exploring, and we really loved hearing about all the history connected to the land. Wyatt Earp was the best spot for star gazing and catching the full moon rise.
The campsites are large and spaced well for privacy and it was the perfect place to let my GSP off leash safely. Goose was exhausted by the time we’d settle in for dinner every night, which was perfect. I will definitely be back in the future and can’t wait to share this little gem with my friends! Thanks again for everything!

John T. was very friendly and as a property owner handled a ridiculous situation the best he could. He only has a few spots on his 15acer lot and the only other campers there clearly don't understand how camping works. I was there alone with my dog. They saw me walking on the property with my dog and my truck was parked in my camp spot. Instead of attempting to speak to me like adults or contacting John directly to verify if another camper was scheduled for arrival they "became frightened" and "felt endangered" and called the cops to come to the property. Now, instead of leaving the property for their own safety to let the authorities and/or property owner investigate they drove their vehicle in/out/around my camp spot blasting their lights on my truck for about 15min waking me up. It was intrusive, and completely beyond ridiculous behavior. I sent John a message and he eventually came out the the site and spoke with me....relaying all of this information along with some other details, none of which added up and was incorrect. He apologized and came and spoke with me the next day also. This situation was out of John T's control. Otherwise, the property was a nice location. However, the camp sites need to be cleaned up and trees trimmed. There were no identifying camp site signs and no grates on the fire pits. It was definitely not as the pictures depict on the HipCamp site.

We had the most amazing time at this quiet and peaceful property. We got the whole property to ourselves and had so much fun playing and exploring with our dogs. The sunrise and sunset were absolutely gorgeous and the campsite was beautiful and so clean. Everything about this place is perfect and I can’t wait to go back! Our hosts were responsive and kind. 10/10 recommend!!

We loved camping on John's land! The views were beautiful at sunrise and the site felt very private. We had a little hiccup finding the site but, John and Donna were extremely helpful by coming to our aid and helping personally direct us. They were extremely kind hosts! We would give this site a 10/10 and hope to come camp again soon! The site is also minutes from many springs and nature trails such as Silver Springs. Definitely worth the getaway!

Fantastic site!! Beautiful views while sitting under live oaks and palm trees. Lovely campfire set up, too. Birders delight with plenty to see and hear. Sites are spacious and easy to get into and out of. Watch the low branches! Very quiet and private. Very close to Silver Springs SP so day excursions are easy! Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I camped in my Subaru Forester with my 2 pups and the campsite was absolutely perfect. We were shaded under oak trees and right next to a huge beautiful field. The dogs played while I relaxed by the fire. I would definitely recommend

The land is beautiful…loved the huge live oak trees and amber fields. Wish there was water onsite, but there is a store nearby to buy it. Also has beer, fresh veggies, meat, first aid/hygiene products.

This spot was beautiful! Donna gave us very clear directions on how to find the property and also told us which was her favorite. We put our tent right by the open field and there was a nice little set up for the campfire already there!

The tent camping was amazing! We got to stay looking out over the beautiful land. We ventured to the area for the spring and couldn't have been happier with out experience! The host was great, and he allowed us to explore his land. This is definitely a place we will be back to camp.
