This property is beautiful. Easy to get to. And lots of springs 15-30mins away. Host gave us easy specific instructions. Definitely would stay here again.

We love exploring by boat and the dock included with this campsite was handy for keeping our jonboat for the 3 nites. There is only one cleat on the dock so prepare to be creative with how you tie off. We used an anchor and a nearby tree. Launch ramp 2 miles away was handy and very well designed. The hosts were always available and very accommodating. The place has hook ups 2 sites located near the entrance. We don’t need hook ups and wanted to camp overlooking the river so Lara let us move the fire ring & boondock a few feet from the river. It’s a nice quiet place and we would go again.

The property was absolutely beautiful and clean, hooking up was easy. The hosts were very responsive. The river was just beautiful and we wish we could stay longer! Nice, quiet, and very peaceful. Our dogs had a blast as well.

Hasn't even been one week and we already miss the beautiful river spot at Green Acres in Branford! What a perfect place right on the Suwannee River for relaxing, fishing, swimming, bonfires, grilling, chilling out, etc! Our 2 large dogs are 12+ but we couldn't keep them out of the water, they loved getting a little swim everyday!! Maybe we'll get lucky and stay on our way home next month, lol Perfect, perfect, perfect!!! Great job Lara! Thank you and your family for sharing your little piece of river paradise with the rest of us. 6+Stars ps.. My husband asked me to add "EXCELLENT CATFISHING" to my review! 😁

As relative newcomers to the RV camping world, my wife and I were eager to return to the Suwannee River area, having enjoyed our previous experience. We stumbled upon Green Acres, and it proved to be a delightful find. Its easy access and proximity to Bradford made it a convenient base, especially since we were there during strawberry season – a local treat we wouldn't miss!
The property itself is stunning. It offers a true 'middle of nowhere' feel, providing a serene and secluded atmosphere. Green Acres offers two distinct camping options: one with power and water hookups, and another with sewer connections (requiring a longer hose). We particularly loved the breathtaking river views and the easy access to the water, even though the recent storms in Georgia meant we couldn't actually launch our kayaks.
A standout aspect of our stay was the exceptional communication with Lara. She was incredibly helpful and provided clear, comprehensive information about the property. Her responsiveness made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
For our next visit, I plan to inquire with Lara about the possibility of boondocking closer to the river with our RV. The idea of waking up to those magnificent river views is simply too tempting to resist. Green Acres offers a beautiful, peaceful, and well-managed camping experience, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow nature lovers.

Beautiful patch of land. Really enjoyed how quiet it was. If you are not familiar with good old fashioned well water you may want to fill your fresh tank before arrival. Overall good experience.

Quiet seclusion next to the Suwanee

Our stay was great! Nice and quiet. The hookup spot was on the opposite side from the only neighbor. It was far from level but we sorted it out. The roads were quiet, great for long walks with our dogs. It rained on one of our days but the rain drained well (as it usually does in Florida) and left no puddles nearby.
Notes:
* We used the provided water filter but the water was nevertheless sulfury (the host did warn us that it could be when the river was high). In hindsight I should have doubled up with our filter.
* The black-water septic was between the pole-barn and power pole/stairs and was a bit of a stretch to reach.
* The lot is not entirely enclosed by fence. Near the river end of the lot there is no fencing. So heads up if you bring your dogs and one is a "runner" (as is one of ours!).
* Campfires are allowed but there is no firepit near the hook-up. We brought our own firepit though so that worked.

We celebrated our 28th anniversary at this lovely little spot and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Lara was a great communicator and we had no issues. The property was very peaceful and we loved that it was so close to the river. We launched our kayaks and had a relaxing paddle. We will definitely be coming back!

Best place I’ve stayed! This is such a beautiful spot. Right on the river. Tons of space. Very peaceful. Deer or turkeys stroll by in the evening. Lara and Mike a Lee great hosts! Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay! Just what the kids and dogs needed for a quick weekend getaway. Lara was very descriptive on how to access the property and what to expect upon arrival. Having that much space was great for the dogs. One of the dogs ran further than he should and was greeted by the neighbors, who were also amazing. Great spot on the river and a great host!

Yes, we would recommend Green Acres. It was very nice. Well kept. It is very private. The is a Permanent RV next door......but it is still very private. If you want to get away to a peaceful place to rv.....this is a great place. Laura is very nice. Responds very quickly. Great place to stay.

Great place. Just a short walk to the river on the property. Drove up river a couple miles to a boat ramp and floated on our paddleboards back to camp. Fenced in property so you can let the doggos run wild. 10/10 will stay here again.

We had a wonderful time hanging out here for 8 days. The property was beautiful and the river was gorgeous, plenty of room for anything you want to do. You do feel like you are completely remote, but only about .3 of a mile to town, which by the way is such a quaint town, we enjoyed the people there. We saw so much wild life. Deer walked through the property on several occasions in the morning as we were drinking coffee. There were areas of the property up closer to the river that were flooded from hurricane Debbie, but we worked around that and floated our skiff boat and paddle board across that area and still accessed their ramp to enter the river. The floating dock was on shore due to the high river, so we used that as a deck to sit on and watch the river. We were the only ones on the river for days. Apparently all the parks/boat ramps were still closed. So peaceful. We also saw the jumping Sturgeons, of course I thought they were dolphins lol...but was informed from the locals that I was wrong. The area where you park your camper is open so it can be quite hot during the summer and the mosquitos will eat you alive, so be prepared to have extra shade and lots of bug spray. There was water and electric hookups as well as a clean out to dump your black tank. Lovely property...would definitely come back--bonus lots of springs nearby. I'm home now, but miss the quiet of nature we enjoyed for over a week. Thank you Lara for a wonderful time.

This place was just what we needed. Peaceful and felt secluded even though there are other homes around you, but you only see one neighbor... and they were very friendly and engaged us in conversation. The stars at night were incredible. The river was really high so we didn't get to take advantage of the beach area, but that was OK. Our pup enjoyed being off leash and played fetch for hours, which we hadn't been able to do for quite some time. Lara was very quick to answer any questions or concerns we had. We will definitely be back. ☺️

Very spacious, private and quiet. Only one neighboring site can be seen, and the neighbors were friendly.
Would be easy to launch kayaks or canoes if you had them. Sitting by the river was very relaxing.
We charged our bikes under the pole building cover. It was an easy ride to Branford which has stores, restaurants, and a park with a boat launch on the river. There is a long paved bike path through Branford.
The host, Lara was very responsive to any communication.

Only RV on site! Beautiful piece of property on the river! First time RV camping and couldn't have asked for a better place! Only draw back is you were next to the sewer and had to move for dumping!! Will go again!!

Lara’s place was so peaceful and around so many springs! There’s so much room to bring tents or RVs and to play games. Our dog loved running around the fenced in/wooded area. We camped with our tents and it was perfect. It’s awesome being right on the river. It feels very secluded even though there’s a house and another property on either side. The neighbors were there and we did speak with them a few times since they were so close to us, but they were very nice folks and we didn’t mind.
There’s a fridge, picnic table, and overhead lights in a pole barn for usage but since we camped in tents we stayed close by the river. There’s a big table made from what looks like an old pontoon boat and it’s awesome to have out there.
100% would recommend this amazing place! Lara was very quick to respond and it was very easy to find her place/get in!

What a BEAUTIFUL spot on the river...can't wait to come back!!! It was perfect for our kayak float. The camper site is in a large open field so the star gazing was great. It's at the entrance of the property near the dirt road and the river is a hundred yards or so away....a quick walk. You're in a neighborhood but it doesn't really feel like it. The property on one side was heavily wooded so you couldn't see those neighbors and the one on the other side was vacant but looks like someone parks a camper there sometimes. It felt very secluded. The nicely shaded dock is in great shape and we caught a mess of fish from it! Swimming from the banks was not the best because you sink ankle deep in clay/leaf mud so i tied off to the dock & floated or i guess you could just jump in! I slow paddled my kayak from Ft. Macomb boat ramp to our dock (6hrs). The next day I paddled from our dock to Wanamake boat ramp (6-7 hrs). This river is just beautiful with its black water, crystal clear springs and old growth trees. It looks kind of difficult to load a 2 person kayak up from the river at their property but 2 pretty strong people could do it with some muscle. It is only a couple of minutes to Branford for your grocery needs....check out Burger Heaven! The listing says that it has septic but I couldn't find sewage hook ups for my camper....but I also never reached out for clarification. We LOVED this spot and highly recommend! Lara responded quickly to my questions.
