Large very well maintained site with very ample privacy. The best is the sunsets. This site is perfectly placed for the outstanding sunsets or watching the clouds roll in.I,personally am not an accomplished bird watcher but I was amazed at different species around. Location to either restaurants or beaches are not far. Full hookup always makes it nice also. We have stayed here before and both times communication with Ulises was top notch! Thank you! Will be back!

We loved camping here! The views were amazing and there was plenty of space for the kids to safely explore. We prefer our own space when camping and this was perfect! Close drive to town with cute restaurants, and shops. Easily bike-able to Salinas Park (public beach access), or a walk with a wagon. Ulises and Daylen were very helpful when I asked for some recommendations. We can’t wait to book with them again!

The quiet landscape and dark night skies were the absolute best! Sunset Place is perfect for daily runs into Port St. Joe, Cape San Blas, and Appilachicola. We would highly recommend this hipcamp and are looking into other dates to book and return. The owners are very responsive and communicate very well.

Beautiful and peaceful spot overlooking the bay with fantastic sunsets. We enjoyed looking at all the birds especially the bald eagles and ospreys -make sure to bring binoculars! The lot is level and well kept and plenty of room to set up. Would definitely come again!

We loved this site on the bay. The sunsets were amazing. The outdoor swing is a plus. There was plenty of room for our dogs to run. Thank you to the hosts for being so friendly and attentive. We would definitely stay here again!

Sunset Place was exceptional! Close to both beaches and restaurants/shops but most of all very private and secure w/ full modern hookups on large concrete pad. Plenty of room for pets and great views. Hosts were very thorough w/ information provided upfront so we were all set from the beginning. So much nicer than crowded campgrounds. Will definitely be returning!

Sunset Place .. The name speaks for itself! Its absolutely breathtaking overlooking the bay. I highly recommend this private oasis on the bay. We can't wait to return! Ulises and Daylen are amazing host who answer extremely quickly. I rate this a 10 out of 10..

Great stay at Sunset Place. Ulises and Daylen were very accommodating and answered all my questions promptly. The property is outstanding, clean and well maintained. Lots of room for my two dogs and the distance from the road and fencing gave me piece of mind. A cut that runs on the northside of the property allowed me to access Saint Joseph Bay with my paddleboard at high tide. Clear, shallow water with lots of marine life. Crabs, horseshoe crabs, hermit crabs, stingrays. Even saw three sharks, amazing! Can't wait to return.

What an absolute gem! Our stay couldn't have been more perfect. Nestled in the serene marshland, it felt like a true sanctuary. We had the privilege of exploring the tranquil waters with our paddle boards, slipping through a quaint channel when the tides were high and the winds gentle—a real delight. Witnessing the lively dance of horseshoe crabs mating and the graceful movements of Willet birds added a touch of magic to our days.
The seclusion and cleanliness of the place were exceptional. With hardly any interruption from neighboring homes, we had over an acre of pristine land all to ourselves. And oh, those sunsets! Just as the name suggests, they were absolutely phenomenal—each evening a masterpiece painted across the sky. Some nights, we gathered around a crackling fire, while others saw us lying under the star-studded heavens, counting satellites as they passed by.
Convenience met us at every turn, with the property's central location offering easy access to both Port St. Joe and Cape San Blas. Ulises, our host, was incredibly responsive and attentive, ensuring our every need was met with care.
In every sense, this place is a hidden gem—a true haven for those seeking serenity and natural beauty. We couldn't have asked for more.

Very nice, large lot! Our pup was able to venture around without having to worry about other dogs. (He’s very territorial) You can see the bay although it is not accessible but the beach is only a mile and a half down the road so we just kept our beach wagon with chairs, umbrella, cooler, etc. ready to go! Just bring an outdoor fan and Off spray! (Yellow flies were a bit irritating) Very laid back area as well! Highly recommend Indian Pass Raw Bar right down the road and the Owl Cafe in Apalachicola a bit further down the road. Hosts were very responsive! Next door neighbor was super nice too and told us if we needed anything to let him know. Highly recommend this spot! Will definitely stay again!

We’ve camped at several different spots in Port St Joe/Cape San Blas and this spot is by far our favorite! The sunsets are absolutely gorgeous! The area is very quiet and the spot is plenty spacious. We had no trouble at all getting our 40ft motor coach, vehicle and jet ski trailer in and out. There’s only one neighbor on the east side and they are full time residents and super friendly. The owners Ulises and Daylen we’re quick to respond to any concerns or questions we had and have already invited us back. Can’t say enough about how nice they were.
We’d highly recommend this camp spot to anyone and can’t wait to come back!

Great location.
If you like privacy, and/ or have dogs, this place can't be beat.
Close to the beach, big lot to move around in.
We had a Bald Eagle hang around for a couple days.
Nothing bad to say about the property.
The owners were great.

We LOVED this campsite! The gated access that greeted us upon arrival felt incredibly professional, and the street light is a welcome beacon to make finding the drive simple. We were immediately taken aback by the amazing sunset view of Cape San Blas. The provided concrete pad was both spacious and perfectly aligned with the sunset over the Cape. There are also solar lights around camp which are a lovely addition to the welcoming beachy feel.
The Birdwatching here is amazing as the tides fluctuate. We had a Whimbrel at this site as well as many egret species; bald eagles, and pelicans. This site is very close to Salinas Park where unlimited access to the beach can be obtained.
The site itself is full hook up. Water and sewer are in the right spots for and easy transfer / fill/ dump. The site has two modern picnic tables, a nice fire pit, and a swing that faces the sunset at the perfect angle
It’s conveniently located between Port St Joe and Cape San Blas so you have no need to worry about being able to stock up on provisions, including the freshest seafood the Gulf of Mexico has to offer.
The owner was always available for every question and had some amazing suggestions to add to our queries.
We have been all over. I say this with no exaggeration, just commit and rent Sunset Place! You won’t regret it.
Someone mentioned construction next door, that is over, and the neighbors are extremely friendly!

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Sunset Beach!! This location is absolutely ideal. Almost completely isolated from the road, it's private. I felt like we were on our own little slice of heaven. It made me want to relocate to Florida! We will most certainly return in the future.

This was the best trip ever, we come every year to St Joe and decided to bring the camper and dogs this year. This lot is perfect it’s private there is no one near you. Gated and fenced so we didn’t worry about our dogs. The swing is fabulous to watch the sunset over the bay. We will come back for years on end here! Ulises and Daylen were so helpful and responded immediately to any questions! Can’t say enough about this place!

Sunset Place was incredible! We had never experienced a private campsite and we loved it. The campsite is set up great with a large concrete pad, full hook up, plus a great swing and lights. The views across the bay were gorgeous, but oh my goodness the sunsets were unbelievable. Each evening the sky would change colors from blues to pinks, to purples and intense oranges and reds. There were lots of birds to watch and I was fascinated by all the dragon flys fluttering around. We will definitely visit Sunset Place and Cape San Blais again.

Beautiful sunsets. The site is a short drive to the beach and no direct access to the water on the bay but we enjoyed our time there. Not many restaurants open during the week days but we drove over to PCB and had a nice dinner. We enjoyed riding our bikes on the trails near Salinas Park.
