Sun Outdoors Marathon is one of those parks that wins you over with location and convenience. It’s right in the middle of the Keys, making it a great base if you want to explore without dealing with the chaos of Key West. The property is clean, well‑kept, and surprisingly quiet considering how close it is to US‑1. Sites are on the tighter side — pretty normal for the Keys — but they’re level, the hookups are solid, and maneuvering isn’t stressful. The waterfront area is the highlight: breezy, peaceful, and perfect for morning coffee or an evening wind‑down. Staff keeps the place running smoothly without hovering, which I appreciate. This isn’t a luxury resort, but it’s a comfortable, reliable spot with a great vibe and a killer location. If you want a calm, central home base in the Keys without the Key West crowds, Sun Outdoors Marathon is a strong choice.
