Originally a girls' camp, this property is rural, yet close to attractions (about 2 hours drive to Orlando and an hour to St. Augustine and Daytona Beach). It is approximately 9 acres, some of which is wetland/hummock, some lakefront (fronting on 2 lakes), some wooded (formerly orange groves) as well as meadow on the largest hill. RV camp site are the second and third photos. It is flat area near the front of the property, with a fire area coming soon. The largest lake is over the hill and is easily accessed via the driveway. Tent camping is available on the hill facing the lake. Bonus is it is near to the lake side firepit!Camping site is in a former orange grove, now overgrown with live oak, long needle pine and bay laurel. Located on a winding sand road, this is a glimpse of old Florida, complete with Spanish moss draped oaks. Campsite has easy access to the lake to the south (walk over the hill), not so easy to the lake to the north (it is very overgrown). The beach is available for cookouts, birdwatching or cast fishing. A yaupon tree is available for making tea. This property have been owned by the Robbins family since 1947.

firewood can be scavenged on the grounds - there are always limbs down. We may be under fire restrictions from time to time and do not recommend fires on windy days. There is a fire pit on the hill facing the lake.

The Old Grove
Such a cozy spot! Owner is extremely nice and so is her dog Kira! Me and my friend fully enjoyed our campsite right by the lake and fire pit. Very peaceful and brautiful spot.

The Old Grove
Overall, it was a good location and quiet. The host was very very nice. The site was not very cleaned up. There is a broken down van on the camping site. To get to the lake, we needed to walk in front of the person’s house. The lake is very pretty and we saw wonderful, peaceful sunsets. It didn’t quite seem set up yet, and has great potential.
