Quite and secure place with full hook up if needed. We just plugged in. The property has more of a commercial feel than tropical. Hagen was prompt to communicate with. We would stay there again. 5 stars.

The area is surrounded by palm trees which offer privacy and gorgeous views at anytime of day. It is quiet and peaceful and we had plenty of space.
Hagen is a fantastic host and very personable! It was our first time staying in a camper van and he stayed late to greet us. Throughout our stay, he made sure we had everything we needed and answered any questions we had which were a lot since we were complete beginners. With his guidance, we felt at ease and at home! He also has the cutest and sweetest dogs!! We would love to come back one day! :)

Hagan was a wonderful host! He is responsive, thoughtful, and kind. He worked with us to find space and a solution when we wanted to extend our stay. We loved camping next to the coconut palms, which provided a great view, shade, and privacy. The security gate was easy to work and made us feel extremely safe. We are definitely telling all of our friends to stay at Hagan’s!

Hagen’s hipcamp is safe and in a great location to visit the Everglades. He’s highly communicative and friendly. There is a mix of short and long term campers on the property. Some spots are quite private while others are not. When Hagen or his family is around, there 3 dogs are roaming the property. They are very friendly pups. There is no trash and WiFi was out while I was there but he was planning to fix it. I’d recommend staying here if you’re visiting and the surrounding area, it’s good value compared to nearby parks.

Not only would I recommend this host I loved the location. It was close to south Miami but felt like the country. Close by farm stands and u pick strawberries was an added bonus. Completely fenced so my dog enjoyed a little off leash play. The other guests were lovely of the ones we met. Five out of five stars.

Hagen greeted us at the gate and available to help if there were any hook up issues. Nice big yard , very private with lots of palm trees. The property was conveniently located , within minutes to stores, gas, restaurants ,… or whatever you might be looking for. It was very quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

Property is lovely, beautiful tall trees create a special feel. Host is very personable and pleasant. All utilities worked well. Dogs are welcome. There are three dogs on site and dogs are allowed off leash. If your dog is not use to engaging with a pack this may be a challenge. Host did offer to leash dogs but we did not feel it was necessary with our pup as he did settle in eventually.

The palm trees are UNBELIEVABLY BEAUTIFUL!!!! Very quiet, very private. The sites are very yyyy roomy. Sweet dogs are there, wish I had more time fir my girl to play with them!! Gypsy got a very nice walk though. Hayden was very sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. The men that were working on the property were really nice to us as well very helpful getting in the gate. Thank you so much for a great stay, will definitely be back

Hagan was a very accommodating host and his land is nice to stay on away from the huddle of the city, but within close proximity. We enjoyed the ability to relax under the royal palms and space to play with our dog. Very reasonable price for full hookups 👌🏽

The host was very welcoming, helpful, and gave great instructions for check in. The site itself had what we needed and was in a great location; however, there was not a lot of privacy and the site is set up in a way that made it a little difficult to determine what space(s) we could use and what areas we could walk around in without invading someone else's space. Additionally, there were very bright lights overhead that were shining directly into our windows, so even with blackout shades it was impossible to make our RV dark at night. Overall, though, it's a great place to set up to access both nearby national parks and amazing food stands and farm stores around Homestead.

I really enjoyed staying at Hagen's place. It felt super safe and welcoming. Automatic gate is a big plus! Contact with Hagen was excellent, he provided me with all the needed information and was super polite.
All the listed things were provided. It is a perfect spot to stay at if you want to visit both Miami and Everglades.

We stopped here for a night on the way to Key West. Easy to get to .. very close to Highway, plenty of shopping and food options nearby as well as fuel. Clean site, beautiful surroundings, easy to walk our dog, had everything we needed for a night . Gated- which was a plus . Hagen was welcoming and very easy to arrange arrival with.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Hagen’s place. We normally stick to state and federally
operated parks and this was our first Hipcamp experience. It won’t be our last. Hagen is a nice,gracious, and accommodating host.
The beautiful site is in an agricultural area just far enough away from the chaos of the Homestead/Miami metro areas to be quiet and serene, yet close enough to be able to access everything the area has to offer easily. Do you like lush green landscaping and palm trees?
(Lots of royal and coconut palms!) Do you like quiet and peaceful? Throw in a host who is not obtrusive but as available as you need him to be, and this is your place. The pad is gravel, level
and was easily accessible for our 30’ Class A and Toad. We will absolutely stay there again when back in the area.

Outstanding place off the beaten path but close to everything! Wonderful property in the heart of the Homestead agricultural area. Quiet, beautiful and spacious. Close to Biscayne and Everglades NPs and Miami. Great assortment of little eateries and fruit stands nearby all over Homestead. Hagen was a very friendly host with excellent communication. We had a fantastic 2 week stay and would definitely come back!
