Outstanding experience. Kim is so kind and generous, I could not have asked for a better host and location. Total privacy, total serenity. Just perfect for myself and my gf, with our 2 dogs. If you visit, please LNT. Some geniuses did damage to a few of the live oaks for firewood when there is a plethora of dead wood on the rest of the property. Have respect for the host and the land because it is a real treat to stay here! You won’t regret it. We’re already planning on returning in warmer months for a swim. Thank you Kim!

Great campsite. Never saw or heard another vehicle the whole time. Had no issue getting the camper in but we had to back in from the code/ white gate to get the correct side facing the river.

This place is awesome. Really love having 2 acres to yourself. Our 2nd time here, both on long weekends. Absolutely recommend this campsite. Very peaceful with the river literally right there!! Kim the host is very responsive if anything is needed.

Off grid campsite was perfect! Stayed here for a solo trip to ring in the New Year. Super quiet and peaceful. There is a nice little fire pit that’s useful. I was able to relax to read and camp overnight. Bring some firewood if you want but there’s also plenty in the woods to use.

Loved this site. So private and serene next to the river. Very large site with plenty of wood for a fire. There’s a grill there if you bring charcoal. I would definitely stay again.

We only stayed overnight at Kim’s property but it was a nice private campsite on the river with a firepit and picnic table. It’s far away from city lights so you get to see the stars! A perfect place if you want to enjoy a peaceful time outdoors. It was easily accessible with our 20ft camper van. Might not be ideal for bigger rigs but perfect for vans, smaller trailers, or tent campers. We’ll definitely come back if we are in the area again.

We escaped Black Friday madness by spending the long Thanksgiving weekend at Kim's place. Boy are we glad we did! The site is beautiful, private & secluded, and full of wildlife. There were three generations of us primitive camping here with plenty of room for everyone... 4 vehicles and four tents, no problem. We even managed to launch a kayak down the steep stairway without too much hassle. There was more than plenty of downed firewood available, so It was really cool having two fires going at once! We had the main campfire for sitting around, warming ourselves, and telling stories, and the cook fire off to the side at the "grill station." The camp bathroom was a nice bonus that the girls in our group really appreciated! Although trekking along the river bank here is not recommended for inexperienced hikers (the banks are steep and the cypress knees are a trip hazard), those that do will be rewarded with endless views of high sandy bluffs and peacefully flowing waters that take you back in time. Our only complaint was that the noise from the nearby interstate reminded us that we can't fully escape the steady hum of civilization, but Kim's place still comes pretty close!!

Beautiful spot! We made a last minute reservation and Kim was so quick to respond. We had no difficulty finding the place. Didn’t see any humans and it was super quiet. The access to the river is pretty - we didn’t utilize for water activities though. The camp bathroom is convenient, but make sure you’re prepared to pack *everything* out. There was plenty of downed wood for firewood too!

Kim has a beautiful piece of property! The site is well kept and she gives extremely thorough directions. She was also quick to respond. We only stayed overnight but would definitely stay again. We heard and owl and, amazingly, didn’t notice any bugs.

Kim was amazing - available every time we needed help. The place was beautiful, especially in the morning with the sun coming up through the trees and over the river. However, 50 dollars is a bit much for what you get (no toilet or running water). And the place could use a little clean-up because there are old tarps and used tissue paper scattered around.

Very private. The road in is a little creepy in the daylight so as a female traveler just fyi, but once you get past that, the site is great. Right on the river which is nice. Noise from 75 nearby but it’s a great overnighter and the noise is like white noise which helps you sleep! Our dog was off leash the entire time and that was nice. Will def stay again

This is the real Florida! You can hear a low hum of noise from the highway but it’s honestly barely noticeable. Super private and peaceful place! Easy access to highway also. Our dog truly enjoyed roaming the 2 acres. We will definitely be back!

Great, private spot on the river! We were just passing through for a night and this spot was prefect. It’s close to the interstate but still feels like you’re out in nature. Nothing fancy but just what we were looking for.

My son and I had a great time. Peaceful. Right on the river. Plenty of space.
It is a number of miles from the Interstate but you can still hear a muted "highway sound" a bit, that might be the only thing someone looking for a truly remote experience might not appreciate. The moon and stars when we camped were glorious. Didn't have a single bug or any trouble finding firewood on the property. Only about 10-15 minutes from grocery / small town amenities so it's close but not too close. 10/10 recommend.

An awesome riverside camp spot! Plenty of room and open sky for star gazing also. Some un-even spots but, plenty of 'blocks' to level your vehicle if needed. Kim, was easily the best to communicate with and get rolling.
High canopy for my van coming in from the "cable side". So. Van Life Nomads, you'll be ok. I little tough with 1 person if ya got a kayak due to the steep ban. Steps are there though!
We'll be back!

Another camping spot added to our favorites list. Big enough for a family of 8 or more to roam around ....multiple camp site options. Exploring the site we found nice river bank area where everyone could relax on the bank of the suwannee without having to walk down steep steps (notibly a better area to launch any type of kayak or canoe) and only short walk away on the property. Campsite felt private. We didnt see other people other than occasional boaters and canoers on the river. The hum of I-75 traffic was unexpected at night and a lil annoying but during the day it wasnt noticable. Host was responsive to questions. I hauled my 6x12 enclosed trailer with all our camping gear and didnt have any issues getting onto the property. Overall great camping experience. Will come back again.

The site was beautiful. Great location on the Suwanee River. We only saw 3 other people on the river near the site during our stay. So, nice and secluded in that sense. We exploring the river by canoe, fishing, stargazing and walking through the woods on the site and down the dirt road leading to the site. The river fog on a cold morning was a beautiful sight to wake up to.
The hum from I-75 was a little unexpected, although it shouldn't have been looking at a map. It wasn't too noticeable during the day. Only at night, for an admittedly light sleeper. Could've been the direction of the wind affecting it.
Accessing the river from the site (very nicely situated on a 15 foot bluff above the river) was a little difficult with a 16 foot canoe. It's doable and shouldn't dissuade most from staying, you just have to get a little inventive. Just a heads up for those with a bigger boat. Maybe bring some extra rope and a sense of ingenuity (which any camper ought to have anyway). There is a bank by the river to store the boat so no need to bring it up and down from the site for every outing. River access with a smaller kayak should be a breeze down a well-maintained set of stairs. The river bank is fun to walk along and explore.
The picnic table and fire ring were much appreciated and put to good use during our stay.
Overall we had a nice stay and would stay again for a quick trip to the woods and river.

This is a great tenting area to stay along the Suwannee River. It is set back away from inhabited adjoining properties, so there is plenty of privacy. The stairs leading down to the waters edge were a bit steep, however we were able to navigate down these with our dogs so they could enjoy swimming in the river. Overall, I would recommend staying on this site.
