THE SPACE:
The Miami Pool Oasis is a peaceful, 4 bedroom, 3 full bathroom modern and comfortable place to stay and unwind in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood close to Miami.
RELAX IN OUR COMFORTABLE BEDROOMS
Inside the Oasis you’ll find comfortable king-size beds in all bedrooms. A master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a separate library/sitting room. The other two bedrooms are on the opposite side with easy access to a full bathroom with tub/shower.
The fourth bedroom is in the pool house, a separate building, with a comfy queen-sized bed, a kitchenette, a private sitting area with a large work desk, and a full bathroom.
All of our bedrooms feature Smart TVs, high-end linens, and bath towels.

The open floor plan boasts a relaxing living room, a spacious dining room, and a fully stocked kitchen well equipped for entertaining your group.

Guests receive a personal code that activates at their check-in time and deactivates at their check-out time. There are two smart locks - one on the entrance of the main house and one on the pool house.
The whole property is available for your use.El Portal is the smallest municipality in Miami-Dade County less than a mile from I95 and close to Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports. It’s s short drive to beaches and the attractions and shopping in downtown Miami.

We also believe the short-term rental industry should be a safe place for hosts and guests to transact.
That is why we have partnered with Superhog, a company that specializes in verifications and screening, conducting the same checks on all hosts that use their platform so that you can be confident that you are staying with a legitimate host.
Superhog administers the damage waiver and we will send you a rental agreement to sign.

GETTING AROUND:
It’s easy to Uber or Lyft in Miami, although it's better to rent a car to get around the city. Public transportation is ok, there are bus stations a block from the Miami Pool Cottage but be prepared to spend a lot of your time waiting for and using the busses.
El Portal is a walkable quiet neighborhood - excellent for walks or runs through the beautiful treelined streets.

HOUSE MANUAL
We have cameras outside the Miami Pool Cottage to ensure your safety and ensure only our guests come onto the property.
The gas grill (barbecue) by the pool deck is used free of charge - please ask the host how to use and clean it.
The Washer/Dryer room is at the backside of (our) house, facing the cottage. Please ask the host how to enter, and then feel free to use it.
Cleaning: We have a local company service our home before your visit. If something is not up to standard, let us know via phone or the booking platform app within 4 hours of arriving. This way, we can address the issue and bring it up to our standards. Like most people, our crews thrive on positive feedback. Please send us any compliments and add them to your review!
Pest Control: Our home receives regular pest control to keep the yard and home as pest-free as possible...BUT ALAS, this is Florida. Bugs and critters thrive here. Please understand the possibility of seeing them in or around the home as they like to sneak in on all sorts of things. Refunds are not given for the occasional bug sighting and reports should be made immediately so that we can determine if an emergency call to the pest company is needed. You can also help us by leaving doors closed whenever possible to prevent them from sneaking in.
Local building code caps the maximum occupancy at 6 people. If you break this ordinance you will be charged $500.00, and we will cancel your reservation without a refund.
According to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation Division of Hotels and Restaurants, we are giving our guests this notification of exception to sanitation requirements.
Notice to Guests:
Dishware, glassware, kitchenware, and/or utensils have been provided in this room for guests' convenience. These items have been cleaned within this room or unit using ordinary household dishwashing facilities and agents. They have not been sanitized according to Federal and State standards for public food service establishments.
And remember, NO PARTIES/EVENTS! NO SMOKING! Guest access Access the cottage, the yard, and the pool via a private gated entrance.
The washer/dryer is available for you to use; please check with the host. Other things to note Free use of deck chairs, garden furniture, pool floats, gas grill, gas fire pit, tree house, and washer/dryer. Pool towels are provided. Free parking. Quiet time after 10 PM.

Each person over the 6-person maximum will incur a $100 fee per person. (Exceptions are made for families; contact the host for details) the pool is not heated.
