This is my small piece of land located on Garcon Point. It is four acres that is completely surrounded by undeveloped land. There is plenty of privacy for any camper. The site is a wide open space with plenty of area to turn around. There are two small ponds to relax by. You will have easy access to interstate 10, Milton, Bagdad, and Pace. If you want to visit the beaches you are less than a 20 minute drive away. There is a boat ramp less than five minutes away up Robinson Point Road. Blackwater River State Forest is twenty minutes away, there are water management trails ten minutes away.This two-acre flat field is located just a few minutes off the interstate and less than five minutes from Milton. The large lot is spacious and allows RVs to pull through the site without needing to back up. There is a trailer that leads to an opening beneath a live oak and another trail that leads to a small pond. This is a completely primitive site and there are no hookups. Guests will need to be completely self contained. There is a boat dock less than one mile away, and a convenient store about two miles. away.

The Live Oak Field
Prior to booking my trip I messaged the host asking if I could get an early check-in as I was trying to check in the same day as my sister‘s wedding he said that wouldn’t be a problem so I went ahead and booked immediately paying extra for the early check-in… fast-forward to the day before check-in and I messaged him asking if I would need a gate code as the check in instructions said I would but got no response. Day of check-in I arrive on site at the time we had discussed to find the gate locked. Tried to message host with no response, called host and was sent to voicemail. As the time of wedding approached quickly, I sent a few pleading messages to get the code as I really needed to drop my camper off prior to heading into downtown Pensacola, where there would be no available parking. (original agreed upon check in time was 12:30. I was not able to get into the gate until 1:28- wedding was at 2:00pm about 30 minutes away- which I had let the host know prior to booking.) once I was finally able to get into the gate I pulled into an overgrown field- The grass was higher than my knees and up to hips in some areas- but at this point in time, I could do nothing about it so I quickly unhitched and left. I did not feel safe letting my dogs run through the high grass so as soon as wedding was over, I hooked back up and left. Listing photos showed a nice mowed/maintained field area… That is not what I encountered

Camp by the Pines
This is not really a campground. It is more like a grassy field in front of a house on a hill - in the middle of nowhere. I had problems accessing the property. There were no signs, no trails, no fire rings... all in all in was very lackluster. While the view of the stars is nice at night that is really all this campsite has going for it. It is too close to the owner's house to feel secluded and thanks to a crazy neighbor encounter, left me a bit reluctant to sleep soundly.
