Our peaceful Fish Camp & Funny Farm features a picturesque, palm-shaded open area (with boat dock) on magical Lake Marion! The fenced-in property features our Serenity Garden, complete with swinging hammocks under shady, swaying palm trees. The premises is pet friendly (with dogs on property) and ideal for fishing, swimming, as well as boating/kayaking (if you're feeling adventurous) along with a washer/dryer for your convenience and a Serenity Garden for your peace of mind. No power hookups or dump for RVs (yet!) but there are extension cords and options available for small conveniences! Swimming is allowed in the beautiful blue lake, however this is Florida so be advised: Wherever there is water, there are Alligators! Camping and swimming IS at your own risk as you escape the hustle 'n bustle of Central Florida (Orlando Attractions 90mins away) but isn't life itself a risk?Pitch your tent or park your RV. Sit back and relax on the lake front, go fishing off the dock or if you have a boat drop it in at the boat launch up the street for a ride, enjoy a nap under the shade of the trees, take a long walk or enjoy food, drinks and entertainment at the local watering whole. In this beautiful quiet place.

Bellew Family Fish Camp

Jennifer isn't a bad person; on the contrary, I had a good impression of her. The place needs a lot of improvement. The dock and boat shown in the photo were destroyed by the hurricane. There was a lot of dog feces and a bad smell. The dogs aren't dangerous, but they barked at me a lot. I paid for two nights and only stayed one. I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a real camping experience.

We loved our stay at Jennifer's camp. Awesome host! Nothing like fresh eggs in the morning. Sitting out on the lake with my coffee, while my husband fished off the dock. Great place to forget all of life's little problems. We will be back definitely!

my family & i loved the couple of nights we stayed w. jenn on her property! we arrived & immediately felt at home w. how kind & laid back she was; my daughter really clang to her our whole stay! early mornings helping her feed the chickens, holding baby chicks, taking the canoe out on lake marion, fishing off the dock, wake up calls from the free range chickens & sitting by the campfire roasting weenies; memories were made! a couple other things that made our stay stress free w. a dog was the property was fenced in! we picked our spot on the property (which was easy to find) & had plenty of privacy to our liking. when checking out she even gave recommendations on what to see in the area as she's a life time local. 10/10 recommend; thanks again jenn!!

Bellew Family Fish Camp

This was my very first Hipcamp experience and I couldn't have asked for a better This was my very first Hipcamp experience and I couldn't have asked for a better host. This is an authentic Florida fish camp. Reminds me of when I used to live in Tarpon Springs and worked on the sponge docks. Jennifer and Bill are excellent hosts. They really make you feel like part of the family immediately. The puppies and the chickens are such a bonus! I had no issues with the chickens keeping me up.
