Melissa was a great host, she maintained communication prior to our stay to keep us updated on the status of the roads. She quickly responds during your stay. Peaceful and relaxing property, very quiet.

Loved that the dogs could be off leash and have absolute freedom. But it would be a better property if they maintained it. Everything was so overgrown I kept losing my dogs ball, and it got to the point I stopped looking because the amount of spiderwebs through the entire yard. Lost 3 balls while there. There were termites flying around and all over my rv. Tried contacting the host about things and just got offered a refund if I wanted to leave. People pay to stay on your property, please atleast put some effort in to it.

If you need a place to relax and get away from it all and debrief this is the spot. Melissa is a great host, always responds to questions quickly. Have enjoyed watching the Longhorns and the wild turkey's trot along the way.

It's so quiet, peaceful out here. Melissa responds quickly with any questions you may have. Have enjoyed hearing the roosters crowing and the turkey's crowing in the mornings. I would definitely recommend.

Quiet area!

Very peaceful, nice to have all services and is a reasonable distance to attractions. However, this “farm” looks really run down. Since this is a business (unlike generous harvest hosts) I feel that the sites should be maintained better ie cut down the weeds/grass. Our outdoor “rug” now has many holes in it from the brush.

Quiet, and clear skies.

If you're looking for quiet, no traffic, and clear skies... This is your place. I stopped for 1 night while traveling through and only noise was crickets all night. Mosquitoes were really bad, so be prepared for that. Nice open field to watch stars at night. To get to the property it's about 1-2 mile sand road then easy access to the property. No low branches or obstacles to maneuver if you have a small rv. I didn't get over to the pond because I arrived just after sunset and left at sunrise. Would stay again for a quiet, safe, and very reasonable rate

Quiet and Comfy!

This is a great spot to just get away and spend some time to think! Which I really needed. It’s quiet, the cows are beautiful, once the next crop of Dragon Fruit gets going it’s going to look great out here! A little muddy - but it is camping after all! The water is not treated, so it smells like a well - but it’s coming from a well! It’s all part of the adventure! Make sure to use the coordinates! It’s easy to get lost in the wilderness back there!

Dragon Lady Farms Lake view

This place is perfect if you want quiet, get a way from it all camping. We had a group of people between Site A and Site B. Each site was perfect. Melissa was very responsive and accomadating to last minute request. Will definately be back.

Awesome spot! Nice and tucked away. Lots of space for tent camping. Saw the cows and was a nice touch! Melissa was quick to respond and super thoughtful from our brief interaction. Good sunrise place!! And nice stars!!

Melissa was great host and very accommodating. Sites plenty of room and very quite and peaceful. We have a 25 foot travel trailer. Wouldn’t recommend much bigger. The turn at gate pretty tight. Long bumpy road to property, I would get groceries or supplies first. Gorgeous sunsets.

Beautiful sunsets await you at this property. Lots of places to take a hike, plenty of room so you don’t feel like you’re on top of any other campers. Melissa is an awesome host☺️

Good place to camp. Remote and quiet. Melissa was quick to respond to our same day request to stay. We stayed in campsite D, at the far end of the field. Was easy in and out but would recommend 4WD.

The site wasn’t bad but I needed an extension cord and extra hose to reach all the hook ups because the septic was so far from the water and power. Also bring bug spray the mosquitoes were thick.

Relaxed and didn’t do a damn thing

We just absolutely love the remoteness that Dragon Lady Farms offers. It is so quiet and peaceful. Being by the pond and watching the sunset was absolutely amazing. It was the perfect getaway to relax and do absolutely nothing.

The site is very private but it is a long and sometimes a bit difficult road to drive. The place is enormous but because it is in progress not very pleasant. Melisse however is an Excellent host. We didn’t meet her but she stayed in constant contact with us.

Melissa's land was exactly what we look for in a campsite. She has water, electric, andWe were the only campers in her back lot, except for the 4 cattle, and a 2 to 3 foot alligator in the pond. We loved being remote, with lots of stars and silence. We stayed in a 25' Class B+ towing a 2 door Jeep.
