Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Garden oasis, 5 min. walk to the Atlantic Ocean w/quiet driveway parking space for your sm-med size RV. Perfect for folks travelling to/from the Florida Keys or anyone needing a beach break on the East Coast of Central Florida. Our property, though small, is a heavily wooded, botanical dream totally geared for outdoor enjoyment and outside living. We have a greenhouse of tropical plants and function as a microfarm; just steps away from the ocean w/backyard chickens for fresh eggs, salad greens, herbs, fruits and vegetables grown year-round. You will find a fenced communal pool area, outdoor shower, bathroom, 2 covered porch areas, including outdoor kitchen space, minifridge, gas grill w/side burner, TV, Wi-Fi and space for a hammock. The is a shared space but we will always ensure your privacy and give you plenty of solitude, if that is what is desired. We are 420 friendly and don't mind small well behaved pets as long as you assume all responsibility, are careful with them and clean up after yourselves. Quiet time 10pm-8am. The property is geared more toward adults. There is a backyard pool and many of our plants are poisonous, sharp, have dangerous spines. Safety is a priority; because of this, if you travel with kids they need to be supervised at all times. It is recommended everyone wears shoes and stays on main walkways when enjoying the property. The RV parking site has a 50 amp RV power hook-up. There is also a 15-amp outlet (120V) at the site you can use as well. There is a city water hook-up. No blackwater sewer services. No wastewater dumping on the property. Your site has a dedicated shaded sitting area surrounded by bamboo and palm trees for your personal use, secluded in the front yard. We're in a safe, residential neighborhood in a wonderful, beachside community, less than a mile to Walmart, Aldi, Walgreens, countless restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and the Indian River Lagoon. Our ocean access boardwalk does not offer public restrooms, parking or lifeguards, but there are several parks nearby that do. We are happy to help you locate any services we're unable to provide. We would love the opportunity to host you. Thank you for looking. Feel free to contact us for additional info prior to booking to ensure a good fit.Hear the ocean and feel the salt air in our parking area. It's a side driveway in a safe, residential neighborhood, with the beach a short walk away. We can accommodate any fully contained, small trailer, campervan, truck-camper, Class B or small Class C RV - there is partial hookup (electricity and city water) available. The parking area is comfortable and protected by thoughtful landscaping to provide ample privacy. The parking spot is a concrete driveway. The slope of the driveway will be more noticeable the larger your rig. The area is dry and does not flood. You can pull in or back in depending on your own preference, driving experience, hook-up connections, your power cords and supply line lengths. The driveway parking spot (concrete pad) measures approximately 30'x11' there is some wiggle-room in the form of an open gravel area adjacent to the pad. The west side of the driveway has a tall stand of bamboo which offers plenty of afternoon shade and nice acoustics in the breeze. If you have any questions, need more specifics or have any concerns prior to booking, please message us anytime. The RV site has a 50 amp RV power hook-up. The neighborhood is quiet. If you're into birds: it's easy to see ibis wander by and osprey over-head regularly. You may hear tiny eastern screech owls in the trees at night, frogs and geckos too. If the wind is calm, you can definitely hear the ocean. You can see the ocean access at the end of the street from the driveway parking spot and walk to the beach just minutes.
