David is a kind and welcoming host with an interesting property- loved walking the trails into the nature reserve straight from the campsite and sitting in the bamboo circle. At one point the mist came out and being there felt like being in a movie. Feels like a special place!

David's garden is beautiful and charming. We had a very nice stay there. He was very helpful and friendly, meeting us when. We arrived and helping to bring our stuff from the car to the campsite (a short walk of about 150 feet). Would happily return

We loved camping at Hay House Farm - the garden and bamboo and stupa are beautiful. It was also a pleasure to chat with David - ask him about his wonderful book about the dogs and cat at the farm. So glad we found this spot and town - we will be back!

This campsite is now my new home away from home. Mediating by the stupa was a wonderful connection, and a peaceful zen vibe that was complete relaxation. David is an amazing host. He made sure that everything we needed was there for us and he shared some wonderful stories of the land. It was great to be in seclusion, and at the same time, not to far from local stores for needed supplies. The bamboo room was the perfect place to play hide and seek with the sun. The flower garden added beautiful color to the space, and the berries were a fresh taste of nature. The hiking trail to the water had some very historic beauty to it as well. We will be back Dave…

Very very nice weekend in David's garden. Even in the rain, the trees and bamboo grove provided plenty of shelter. Good times all around!

The farm was amazing, and Dave was so friendly and helpful. We loved walking the paths through the fields, and the kids loved the bamboo room. Our only complaint was the ticks, but you have to be expecting that when you’re camping in that area. 10/10 would recommend.

The campsite was great-- clean, private, plenty of space. The property as a whole was beautiful, and provided for a unique, memorable experience. Dave is a cool, kind, and interesting guy. Grateful for our brief time there. Would recommend!

Very nice field with tons of flowers for tents. However, we were car camping and the lot we were parked in was a bit messy, with some pieces of junk around, so wasn't quite as charming. To be fair, we booked last minute and we are still very early in the season, so it might be cleaned up.

We absolutely loved our time here. We have a 3 and 1 year old and it was perfect. The gardens, David’s calm spirit, the massive field to play in, the sweet dogs, the gorgeous night sky…everything was wonderful. Such a great place for kids!

This was a great spot to put up a tent and enjoy a beautiful scene away from the crowds at the state campgrounds. David was a wonderful host, we enjoyed his hospitality and his friendly little dogs and even bought one of his books. Enjoyed the recommendation to go to the Chester market where we purchased lots of good local food.

We enjoyed our stay here! The property is beautiful and we were happy to be greeted by multiple dogs. Dave was there to meet us when we arrived, gave us a quick tour, and provided a cart to bring our gear to our campsite. Our site was next to another group but we didn’t feel too close. Bring your own tp for the outhouse!

We had a lovely time with David and the flower farm! He was incredibly welcoming and sold us fresh eggs for breakfast the next morning. The property was magical to walk around, and the bamboo room was a relief on a 90 degree day to cool off. We also enjoyed hiking the trails attached to the property and found a lake to jump into to cool off. Highly recommend for a small group!

The setting is beautiful, and the sites in the field feel very private. Only a short walk to get between the parking area, the campsites, and the outhouse. Lots to do and see on the property, including hiking trails and the hidden bamboo room!

We loved the site! It was really quiet and peaceful; it felt nice and secluded. David also provided top notch firewood. We camped in a few other spots in the area the same week and no place had wood as dry as that! Makes great campfires.
