Brian’s spot was literally the best camping trip I’ve experienced; The views are breathtaking. Water is fresh and cool. The best part is the privacy- host is super friendly and will get you whatever you need, but also gives you your privacy throughout your stay.
He made sure the place was looking top notch for our arrival. Very clean and lots of supplies already to go for you, which we found extremely generous and inviting. No campground can beat this private piece of heaven.

That river is everything! The camp site is private and Brian could not be more wonderful.
My family and I left a day early due to the forecast but boy did we enjoy the time we did have at Running Brook.
My four year old loved looking for critters in the water and exploring all the waterfalls.
We had mentioned ice cream and Brian suggested a 5 minute drive to Stafford Springs. What a nice surprise! Beautiful little downtown packed full of artist. Plus, the ice cream was awesome.
We live right on a highway at home so the traffic noise did not both us at all. There is a gas station 2 min down the road for essentials you didn't know you needed.
Over all we had a great time and encourage you to book!

We enjoyed every moment at Brian’s campsite! Being located right along the brook, the water provided a nice relaxing ambient sound throughout our stay. We had minimal issues with mosquitoes and bugs in general which was a pleasant surprise. The site was pretty much fully equipped with the basics of camping: firepit, grill, chairs and table, with multiple seating areas spread throughout the site, along the brook. Brian was a very accommodating host, from the time of booking to the time we left. Thanks again, Brian! Looking forward to returning in the future!

An amazing space and setup that will satisfy all levels of interest in camping. You will find by far the most accommodating and caring host that will keep a site in pristine condition. Simple touches and accommodations make your set up an ease from the ports potty setup to established seating areas in the best spots. And the space to explore and disperse for the more adventurous camper.
Brian is extremely friendly and social if that’s what your looking for, and respectful of your space if that’s your plan. Basically meet and greet when you get there or have a cup of coffee as well if you want.
The property is well located and planned out. It’s a dream piece of land with two brooks converging with a great sound, flow and is stocked with trout. Although this trip was unprepared and didn’t reel anything in. All the items you could think of are provided and could in theory just pitch the tent and enjoy the land.
The one thing to bring up. The closeness of the highway. It is unavoidable to not say that you will at times hear it. It is close, however elevated to reduce the noise and after a time I did not really hear it over the fast brook. So it became a no factor to me really. In fact, if using the spot as a base camp for exploration of the area, which is close to great hikes and views, then the closeness is an asset in the end.
My two days was not only enjoyable, but has not become the planning spot for our next family trip.

What a camping site! Man, this place is just amazing. Brian has created a king of sites. The thing sprawls along the river, following the little waterfalls and rocky outcroppings, creating much more than just a spot in the woods for a tent. He hooked the place up with a fire pit, table, chairs, portable toilet, 'kitchen' area, and plenty of wood. The ground is soft and spongy. The canopy provides a ton of shade. My son and I spent a couple of hours at the river's edge, making dams and finding interesting rocks. We spent a couple of hours walking along the river, and if you get tired of that there are plenty of places nearby for more hikes. Brian himself is really enthusiastic about the land and it shows. This is our favorite camping spot! We'll be back for some fishing later this summer.
I do have to mention that the interstate is pretty close to the site. You can definitely hear it. As far as the volume goes, if you stand next to the river, the noise of the water on the rocks is louder than the highway noise, so we didn't really find it to be an issue, and you can't beat the convenience.
